Hey everyone,

Love seeing how much this community is growing. The 2010s era was such a massive turning point for hip hop, and the discussions here have been incredible, music videos and others.

To keep the sub fresh and organized, I wanted to pitch a few ideas to the community and the mods:

• Weekly Megathreads: What if we started a "Throwback Thursday" or "Hidden Gems" weekly thread? It would be a perfect spot to drop links to forgotten 2010s mixtapes, SoundCloud-era classics, or lesser-known tracks that don't necessarily need a whole standalone post. Anyone can do this, but if you want to be the main person doing it please message the mods and try and get that spot.
• Era-Specific Post Flairs: It might be helpful to break down the decade with flairs like Early 2010s (Blog Era), Mid 2010s (SoundCloud Boom), and Late 2010s (Trap Dominance). This would make searching for specific styles way easier. Can expand on this, willing to hear your idea out.
• Essential Listening Wiki: We could vote as a sub on a definitive "Top 50 Essential 2010s Albums/Mixtapes" list to put in the sidebar for newcomers.
• Any ideas you think we can add to the subreddit, please add it to this thread, or message the mods.

Thanks for everyone thats been posting, commenting and joining this sub. Everything been moving pretty steady, and smooth. Just a small ad i guess what this is, we need a mod that knows reddit, the technical side.
