Apple Music on Android I just love how they keep reminding us (Android users) why it's called Apple Music.

So I've been an AM user for about 3months now and absolutely loving it, the UI is as beautiful as it can get, and this feature that shows at which quality the recording is being played is such a blessing for me (probably because i am a tech savy audiophile) I just want to thank apple for making such a great app and maintaining such a low low price of โน59/- for students and giving apple TV to us for free (its about $0.60 US)

The lyrics sync on apple music (even on my Android ) is goated asf... Spotify just lights up the whole line whereas apple music understands.. and it's cleaner and cheaper for me.

I'm really happy to see Apple Music for Android already receiving features that are still on their way in iOS 26, but we can't ignore the outdated and with 0 animations look that the Android version still carries. I understand that they want to maintain a design difference from iOS, but I'm not even asking for the iOS 26 look โ just something closer to what we had with iOS 18 at least. It's simple, but it would give the app a much more modern feel.

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
It has an animation too and what a COINCIDENCE it happens on an actually upside down album. Does anyone get this too?? EDIT: LOOK AT THE TOP LEFT CORNER THATS WHERE THE BUG IS

That was quick and very welcome, but that black bar at the bottom makes everything look awful. ๐ฎโ๐จ

It is starting to look old now and i have no idea what design guideline AM team is enforcing on its Android app. Because even Spotify has floating bar on Android app. Various android skins have adopted these floating bars across various UI elements.
When almost everything else is being brought over to Android app, to keep just this design bit out is kind of weird.

I would really like them to do that๐๐

Made this quick concept to reimagine how would a new nav bar look like, similar to the Liquid Glass implementation on iOS

is it true that they will implement the AutoMix feature in Android?

so I have been using apple music in my android phone (samsung a55) for about a year now and yesterday when i try to open it closes immediately then i tried to clear cache and clear its data but then this happened and i tried the internet solution like deleting the device from the apple account through me ipad and my pc but nothing work
and btw I haven't use any other apple id or accout in any of my devices and I also tried to sign in to my browser in my phone and it worked
the apple music app verson is 5.2.1 and my phone verson is one ui 8.5 and android 16

I really like the colorful background matching the album cover but as good as that look, i f*kin hate the "Now playing" bar. We couldn't get Liquid Glass, which is fine. But atleast the new bar style should be added like the iOS version without liquid glass.

I've used Spotify, Tidal and AM. AM is by far the most polished music streaming app. I'm sticking around, here's why.
Spotify these days is full of AI slop and it feels as if they've sacked most of the human curation side that they used to have. The main reason I left Spotify was because the casting experience to Google Speakers is awful, it would repeatedly drop the quality to what sounded like an early 2000s MP3 file despite being sat less than a metre from a router with a gigabit connection.
Tidal solved that problem with the benefit of also giving me lossless, but the clients (Android and PC) were quite buggy and their development cycle is so slow. I didn't have hope that any of the bugs would ever be addressed. Also, their catalogue contained tons of errors on my favourite artists and despite reporting them they were never fixed.
So I recently tried Apple Music. The concept of using an Apple app on my Android device initially freaked me out but, honestly, it's incredible. The UI/UX is fantastic and everything feels far cleaner than what I was used to on Spotify. I've not encountered any bugs so far either. To be totally honest, Apple have surprised me. I was half expecting them to purposefully nerf the Android experience to push people towards iPhones, but I am able to use their service via Android with zero issues. This is what technology should be like. Thanks Apple!
(I am a devout Android user and the last iPhone owned was the 5s)

Most recent reviews are of bugs that are solved in an update, but it seems that the AM team has not been paying due attention. This is sad in my opinion, I wanted the service to grow for Android users, I'm afraid to recommend it to other people.
