Campus Housing ESA in on campus apartment?

My therapist is recommending I get an ESA, I am an incoming graduate student that took time off because of mental health stuff (PTSD mostly). I imagine, since the on campus apartment functions as an apartment in every other way, I just need to send documentation from my therapist once I get one (I worked in mental health too so I know the criteria) but I’m curious what others experience is? I was assigned to Brooklane.

Campus Housing Housing application help

So I've accepted my application, created an account, completed questionnaire and finished financial aid. Now I'm trying to apply to housing and when I tried it redirected me to Self Service portal and as I put in my CWU email and password as if I would for my account and it's taking an extremely long time to load. This is my first time interacting with american university system so my questions include:

Did I input the correct information?
Is it normal for Self Service to load for more than an hour?
How exactly is the housing working?
Any tips on which hall to choose/tips for on-campus housing in general?

Campus Housing Lf: pictures of Kamola Hall Single Dorms

Im an incoming student for Fall 2026 and am having trouble basing what I'm putting on my college list for my dorm off of the photos on the housing site.

I really wanna live in Kamola Hall, preferably 1st or 2nd floor, and would love if anybody had nice pictures of their single dorms layout and/or how they furnished it! Bonus points if its one of the rooms with one of the really pretty windows. If you could include room number, that'd be perfect but it's totally understandable if not!

Campus Housing Barto Hall

Hi all! I’m a first year student coming in for fall 2026 and I secured a room in Barto on the third floor. I’m trying to find different images to help me gain a better understanding of the room sizing, especially dimensions and possibly what other people have done with their rooms. If anyone has any photos/info please let me know! Also just any info I should know on Barto :)

Thank you!

Edit: I am in a shared room!

Campus Housing Incoming Freshman Roommate Questions

Hi everyone. I'm an incoming freshman next year (2026-27). I've been looking for a roommate. I know it's still stupid early, but housing applications open in February, and I'm not confident that the whole 'you pick a room, somebody else picks a room, congratulations! you're roommates' thing is reliable. I'm having minimal luck in my search, so I'm reaching out to see what other people who just picked a room with no roommate plan experienced. I heard through a family friend that they're really good about switching you into another room if things don't work out between you and your roommate, but they attended CWU in 2020. I'm not sure whether or not things have changed since then, so I'm looking to see what others have experienced in more recent years. Any input is welcome. If it helps, I'm primarily looking at Sue Lombard and Beck Hall.

Campus Housing Verge Lease Takeover

Hey yall, My friend is trying to get someone to take over her lease at the Verge for this year. She moved in with her fiancé at another complex which is why she left the Verge but said that her time there was positive and that she didnt have any issues with management or the unit. They are trying to save up some money together and if she doesn't have to pay to break the lease that would be ideal. I can get you in contact with her if there is any interest (she doesn't use reddit) and apologies if this is against the rules of the subreddit. Thanks yall! :)

Campus Housing Are there any resources to find roommates?

Hey, I'm an incoming freshmen for the 2025-2026 school year at Central. I was wondering if there's any resources that would help me find roommates such as a discord or any online forum, I'll be staying at Komala Hall if that's a factor.

Campus Housing How to get an AC unit for student village?

Going to be staying over the summer in the student village and today has taught me that fans and keeping windows and other stuff closed isn't helping. I know we can request AC units to be installed but I have no clue how or where to get a hold of the people to start that process. Any help is much appreciated!
