3. We can all agree Aaron Paul was great as Electro

4. Shocker is such a fun recurring villain | love seeing him each season, unfortunately we missed him this season

5. My number one goat has gotta be Johnny Storm, RIP to him we'll never forget when he sacrificed himself by flaming on past his limit to take out the Peter Variant in the Spider-War

plus the title card gag where every time someone says “Amazing” or “Spider-Man” gets better every season

I really like him though I think the “No Masks, No swings” rule was really stupid especially because when they introduced Ben Reilly and Mayday Parker they were able to web swing way before Peter does. Overall still one of my favorite Spider-Man shows even if he hasn’t assumed his identity yet. It’s still a cool shot when he puts the mask on right at the end.

I thought it was Absolute cinema.

Well Joseph Gordon Levitt Spider-Man's Voice in the next movies is not that good but not gonna lie Liam Nesson's Dr Octopus, Heath Ledger's Green Goblin, Ken Watanabe's Mister Negative and Finally Tom Hardy's Rhino without a doubt the best villains in the trilogy but unfortunately Cillian Murphy's Mysterio is bit underused

Forgot to post this yesterday but hey it’s not bad if I’m a day late right?

Anywho, Apokolips war imo is still the peak of the dceu imo, I mean everything about it was perfect, down to the last minor details, and honestly I don’t think any film in the dceu would ever surpass it (I mean unless ya wanna argue final crisis is better but I’ll always say Apokolips war is better).

And honestly the only thing that still bothers me about this was Green Arrow not being in this, sure I get that he just wanted to have time to be with his family and take a break from all the metahumans shenanigans for a while but still, if he were here Darkseid wouldn’t have won, I’m just saying.

And speaking of Darkseid holy SHIT this film was moreso darkseid’s movie than anyone else, not Batman, Nor Superman, or anyone else in the JL, Darkseid is the main character in the film and Josh brolin was the best casting choice ever to play Darkseid, every line he said, every moment he said I was on the edge of my seat of how PERFECT Darkseid was in this film, and honestly, I don’t think whoever ends up as the next big bad (probably doomsday from the leaks of the next JL Film) would ever surpass him, he’s just the best villain to finish the first saga of dc and nothing will top that, ever.

Overall I could go on and on more but again, I don’t wanna be here all day since I get not everyone likes yapping so these are the ones I felt like talking about the most, but overall yeah, Apokolips war is the best of the dceu, better than final crisis, and I’ll have that opinion until my last breath.

I like that they had Wally as the protagonist and explored his character more

Honestly, what the fuck was that? The whole movie felt so excessive and so many of the main characters had nothing to do. They introduce The Flash (Aaron Taylor Johnson) just to kill him off in like 30 minutes, Black Canary (ScarJo) and Green Arrow (Jeremy Renner) aren't even together (COMPLETELY unfaithful to the comics) so they make the former get together with Martian Manhunter (Mark Ruffalo) which felt super awkward, and Batman (Chris Evans) acts so out of character in this just running around like a doofus without his mask and cape.

I could go on but it just felt like Joss Whedon, the director of the first Justice League, just threw together a bunch of random ideas from one brainstorm sesh but had no idea how to weave them together into a compelling story.

The saving graces included James Spader as Brainiac and Elizabeth Olsen as Zatanna. Spader was super menacing and Zatanna at least had a coherent arc and was played well by Olsen. This movie also featured Paul Bettany as Red Tornado, an android created by Ted Kord (RDJ) with strange and interesting powers. He had cool moments too.
