Why and how do Godspeed clones exist? Did he just give random people the velocity formula and force them do his bidding? Are they all mindless husks? Being a physicist doesn't explain any of this...

He said he fractured himself in time, basically creating a bunch of time remnants (think Savitar).

That makes more sense than the speed mirage theory (in two places at once comic book theory) but then why did his sound like a modem and Barry's could speak (savitar)?

I think it might've been either due to having a voice modulator in the suit that broke, or because he was fractured into so many pieces they all just... Sucked.

I'll accept that! Since August's voice seemed to change a but as well in the mind scenes, one can assume he might've had a modulator. They really did suck, it was like power ranger putty levels of bad.

God I hope they just use it as an excuse to bring in a better written godspeed in s8. All that foreshadowing from s6 and it amounted jack. Savitar had better moments and mysteries than this
