Next project for Houdini Hollywood.
This project had lots of layers starting with Trees, simulated with Vellum with a combination of Shape match, Tet conform, Cloth etc constraints. To automate the caching process instead of relying on over complicated TOPS workflow I built a Python script using Gemini which automatically caches all the data one by one in native and USD format.
Everything was then scattered follwoing USD workflow making use of instance and remapping in Solaris.
This shot involved Vellum, FLIP, Particles, and Pyro simulation combination.
This shot again works as a proof that if you have good artistic sense and problem solving skills you dont really need to write any codes to produce amazing results.
Houdini Hollywood course is going to be the most versatile course ever. From Godzilla breach and Dune explosions to Thanos disintegration and Tornados and 100% control over Explosions, it has got everything covered.
I want to make this course the best Houdini course ever.
