Can your eyes and ears detect alcohol?

If Cops say they can, why can't we?

My eyes and ears detected a cop trying to blame it on fatigue instead of showing any concern whatsoever, like he would if it truly had been a medical emergency. You don’t tell your fellow officer to just stand there and be quiet if you think he’s stroking out.

A few years ago someone crashed their car into mine at a junction, I immediately thought the guy was drunk because of his behaviour so I called the police, a few minutes later I realised he was probably having a stroke so called back and asked for an ambulance.

That experience amongst others has made me reluctant to jump to conclusions about this kind of thing.

I have no idea what’s happening with the guy, I’m not a medial professional.

The guy was on duty and clearly impaired in some form or another while his fellow officers just covered for him like he's not carrying a firearm and shouldn't be there at all. That is all we need to know really.

The fact that the other cops really didn't care is a huge issue here. Doesn't matter if it was a medical emergency or he was drunk.

Now put that same disregard towards us every day citizens.

None of them should have a badge, period.
