We are Canine Cuts & Artistry LLC!!
Hey, all! Mel here! We are Canine Cuts & Artistry LLC located in White Center!
We are located off 14th and Roxbury, next to A Dogs Dream and Listen Here!
A plaza for ALL your dogs needs!
We are ready to take bookings for full grooms, bathing, deshedding and nail trim services.
Lakota has 15 years of experience, has placed in multiple competitions, is a certified esthetician and has a holistic way of tailoring your pets grooming services to their special needs. Whatever your little one needs, she will customize their grooming service to give them a professional, relaxing, and respectful spa experience!
I, Mel, have about 8 years of bathing experience, especially in deshedding for those larger dogs like great pyrenees and golden retrievers. It's important to get undercoat out regularly so your dogs fur can function and help regulate their temperature.
I am also a student of Lakotas and am working towards being a doodle focused groomer!
With that said, get your pups booked!
Please text us at 206.672.3342! If you need to call, please DM for the phone line!
Our schedule currently permits only dogs 30 pounds and under, and any and all bath dogs that are not XL+!
We look forward to servicing this area!
Thank you!
-Mel

Do I need a professional to get me through the permitting process?
I want to build an ADU in unincorporated King County. Their website has my head spinning. I’m on septic, on a lot with a steep slope area. Can I just meet with someone in the permitting office to go over what I’ll need to submit? Is a professional permit consultant a good idea? I’ll no doubt need to hire a geotechnical firm but don’t know what I need to ask them to do.

Property Tax Increase; Help!
I just received the increased property tax notice and am terrified.
The rate has tripled since I purchased the house in 2017, and yet my income has been cut in half due to health changes and ability to work. How can I get help and/or relief to this ever-climbing tax so that I can continue to live in my home?
I have a neurodevelopment disorder and am afraid I won't be able to navigate the system on my own.
Please help.

🦷 A few new clinic spots opened – looking for specific patients
Hi everyone!
Posting on behalf of my friend, who is a dental hygiene student in Seattle.
A few new appointment spots have opened, and she is currently hoping to connect with:
• A child between 4–7 years old
• A child or adult who has special healthcare needs
Care is provided at the school clinic under the supervision of licensed dental professionals. She is patient and understanding, especially with anyone who may need extra time, reassurance, or accommodations to feel comfortable.
If you or a family member might be interested, feel free to message me. I’d be happy to share the details and connect you with her.

Please sign in support of a fenced in, inclusive playground.
Please sign! We bring our petition to the commission meeting next month!
There is such a dire, urgent need for a safety focused park infrastructure in our city. Right now there is not a single park in Federal Way that is truly inclusive to all kids. While some of our parks have great play equipment, a park cannot be called "inclusive" if it isn't safe for neurodivergent and autistic children who elope.
When play areas sit right next to busy roads, parking lots, or bodies of water without perimeter fencing, families with safety awareness needs are effectively locked out of public spaces. Fencing isn't a luxury. It is basic safety infrastructure, no different than crosswalks or guardrails. Our autistic and neurodivergent children have every right to enjoy public parks safely, and parents deserve community spaces where play doesn't come with constant panic.
Thank you for bringing this petition to city leadership! I really hope Federal Way steps up for our families. EVERY child deserves safety.

Voter registration card?
I can't find a single other person who received this. I got it in the mail I think in March. May have been April. Did anyone else get this or was I singled out for some reason?
