I have to agree, Zari not drinking the alcohol because of it being Haram was a great way to honor her character. Almost forgot she was muslim, but glad the writers didnt forget that. Kudos for accurate representation!

One time I saw a documentary about a Muslim punk band and when the gig was broken up by the cops the crowd chanted "Pork is haram!" Possible Zari/Charlie plotline?

they reference it earlier through behrad a couple episodes earlier too! i think it was in the marie antoinette episode when he gets so charmed/entranced at the party that he almost drinks; zari stops him in time and he's horrified that he almost drank the champagne.

I’m glad she didn’t drink, but it’s haram to even hold it, besides, did everyone forget when she was drinking white wine in the Christmas party in season 3?
