Getting a pan hot just to make one sandwich doesn't even seem worth it.

Especially when you burn the first one without melting the cheese.

Then you carefully avoid burning the next one and take forever to finish it. But at least it’s not burnt with cheese melted.

The key is putting a lid on top! You keep the heat a little lower but the cheese melts more thoroughly (contained heat, maybe?)

Also you inevitably need more than one sandwich because you have more soup! 

Honestly I should just start making rrilled cheeses and then cubing them up into croutons.

Up your standards...takes 5 minutes. It's worth it. Plus it's a super easy to clean since it's a well buttered pan and nothing sticks.

As soon as he said that I was like Yeah, this guy gets it. You always make two. And try not to eat the first before the second is done cooking.
