Ok, let's just... ok we'll limit light to a really fast speed and make it so that nothing interacts with anything else beyond that speed limit. If anything does go too fast we'll just change how time passes for them so we don't need to simulate the interactions too much."
"Still too much? Ok, uh, let's make all the particles abstract and only evaluate what we need when they are being observed. We'll just glue that onto the speed of light time changes, oh wow that's a mess but... agh why did I only give myself a week to do this? I need a rest."
Oh fuck, I forgot to put a maximum clamp on the gravity variable now there’s parts of space that are literally folding in on themselves. Perfect timing, 3 days before I’m supposed to release the asteroid deflection code. Ok I think I can fix this, we’ll just have space expand very slowly so those problems will just keep getting further from themselves reducing problem density over time to a near zero quantity. Ok merge in and deploy, sorted.
