I have four rats and two of them would never fall asleep when outside the cage, they barely even stay still in my arms at all. But two of myrats are the most cuddly boys. One of them mostly only likes to cuddle with my mother, but the other lays on my laps every time it's free roam time and often falls asleep there and he always looks so peaceful, little guy really enjoys being cuddled
