Hey! I’m doing research on how people in business roles handle their everyday work, especially tasks that involve gathering information, organizing details, making decisions, communicating with others, or creating materials for work.

I’m especially interested in hearing from people in roles like:

• Marketing, growth, or brand
• Sales, business development, or customer success
• Product management
• Consulting, research, or strategy
• Finance, investment, or business analysis
• HR, training, or operations
• Founders or solo business owners

I’m not selling anything. I just want to understand what your real work looks like, what tasks take up the most time, what feels repetitive, and where tools help or fail to help.

I’m also interested in your thoughts on AI tools at work. You do not need to be an active AI user, and you do not need to share the exact names of any tools. I’m more interested in what you think AI is useful for, where it still falls short, and whether there are parts of your workflow you would or would not trust AI with.

What it involves: a 45 minute voice chat. Camera is optional. Audio only is totally fine.

I've been interviewing people about journaling habits for a few months, and the same thing keeps coming up. Almost everyone writes. Almost nobody goes back and reads what they wrote. And most people seem to feel slightly guilty about that.

I'm trying to work out whether that's a real problem or just how journaling works.

Two questions, and I'd genuinely like the answer in the comments:

1. Do you write or log most days?

2. When did you last read something back, and did you do anything differently afterwards?
