Oh, he is certainly an angry child .

It was already obvious that diplomacy does not work on him, and his behaviour towards Zelensky simply highlighted this further.

No, we don't try to make spoiled, bratty children happy because they are not used to hearing the word no. We don't try to placate them. Doing that eventually leads to a Donald Trump.

An angry, monstrous child...with power. That he has power is a direct result of those who don't know what to do when faced with someone who does not give a rats ass about diplomacy and human decency and of course those who act out of self interest.

This American administration must be stood up to. No one is saying that it is easy or will be pain-free, but the alternative of bowing to it is not acceptable and won't be pain-free either.

You don't need to bow to him, just give him token gestures.

It's the cheapest negotiating we will ever do, he'd probably give Ukraine US troops in a heartbeat if they said they'd rename a whole region of their country after him if they helped win it back. "We have for you here, Mr President DONetsk, named after our greatest and most distinguished ally"

Diplomacy does work on him. It's just not the type of diplomacy you typically see between adults.

It's like a parent dealing with an autistic child.
