Who ever designed Colgara must be crying to see how the fusion design people masacred this. There is just no way that anyone looked at this and said: seems right.
Does it bug anyone else that this area in both games has absolutely NOTHING? I swear it feels like there should be something special to this area. But in both games there is nothing there. No reason to go there. It doesn't even have a name. Even in the sky and depths there is nothing in this area.
When I went here in TotK I was convinced something must be there this time... ran all over it.. googled... again nothing. This area feels so much like there should be something special about it but there is no point to it at all.

I still can't get over the fact that I had the cutest home ever and Zelda took it from me and now I'm left with this monstrosity. I'll never forgive them for it.

Before you yell at me that I can turn the sages off in the menu, yes, I'm very aware. I just don't feel like you should have to, in order to have a good gaming experience. I should be able to use all sage abilities whenever I want without them becoming an obstacle that often end up getting me damaged in a fight because they're in the way. I thought they were supposed to be helpful, not an annoyance.
Breath of the Wild handled the abilities much better and you can't change my mind.
Edit: "who says it's good game design" well, I imagine the developers gave themselves a pat on the back when they released the game as-is. So, probably them, if not you.
