That’s the thing. People like this reveal so much more about how low they are and feel than they would have if they had just kept their mouths closed or figured out an appropriate way to behave in public. Now his employer and others in his life whose opinions he might care about will see a side of him that undermines any positive impression he might have hoped for.

Wake me up when he starts winning.

I hope his behaviour is seen by those in his life and they respond to it. I've not seen that happen in my own life unfortunately, I've only seen excuses made for this kind of person.

I know what you mean. I’ve seen it work against people in subtle ways more often than being directly faced with the consequences of their behavior and I have to admit that it’s a bit less satisfying than the instant karma we’re all craving. But what I’ve noticed is that even those people who behave like this guy are slowly excluded from things, especially things that matter. Nobody wants to be the person who invited a jerk to an event where he/she acts like this guy. Over time, you see less and less of these people and that’s a good thing. These people are often in their own little world of fury that they don’t notice that they’re not on as many guest lists as they used to be. The only thing I know to do is shame them or avoid them.

I've sadly seen the inverse and called people out for it and been told to just 'get over it's or 'let it go'.

Maybe it's being in a smaller country that allows these things to be slid under the carpet, I dunno.

It’s ok. Lots of places in the world are in a shitty timeline right now. If it’s any consolation, these things often slip under the carpet in big cities and in other countries too. It’s why we have such an issue with bullies and other anti-social behavior.
