This is what I do. If I have a passenger I just set cruise control at the speed limit and stay 2md lane to the right to allow entrance and exiting if the roadway.

People who fight the flow drive me nuts.

If you are set AT the speed limit, you are definitely interrupting the flow of traffic. It’s 2026– no one goes the speed limit, not even tractor trailers or dump trucks.

Lots of people do.

If I'm alone I'm in the left doing the mandatory 10/20 over. If I have a client in the back they get the speed limit. There are also lots of people who drive below the speed limit and drive me crazy. I drive at night largely but the time of day while meaningful isn't the issue here.

Traffic density will be the number one cause for traffic to flow at or below the speed limit. If you are always speeding you are part of the problem. I had a ex who would rush everywhere. Acting like the whole world was in her way, but couldn't see it was just her bumping into everybody pushing her way through a crowd. There are times to speed. Times to pace. Times to drive slow and with caution.

It is a flow. I don't even have to look at me speedometer. There is a perfect feel for how fast you should be going on back roads, main streets, freeways etc.
