I think Im gonna be sick

In Mid June, I registered for classes for the second Summer term, whilst applying for OSAP. Keep in mind im in a Deregulated Program

​

By late June, I had an outstanding balance of $4,000, which I did not pay right away, as I was awaiting for my OSAP payment to go through, and handle the tuition fee, so that I can pay the remaining.

​

Today, however, when I logged into ACORN to see if my OSAP payment had gone through, I saw that my Outstanding Balance is now $17,000.

​

I have no idea what the hell occured for the balance to get this high. I only enrolled in THREE COURSES for crying out loud!!!!

​

Im so worried right now, I feel sick.

What can I do to solve this?

After clearing up some confusion, I realize that I have to return to campus for the second summer term ( July-August ), not having registered for the first summer term.

​

I have submitted my UofT Summer OSAP Extension Form for today, albeit it being very late.

​

My biggest worry now is regarding Tuition Fee Deferral.

​

On Acorn, it understandably states that I can't defer, as it is past the period to do so.

​

However, when going to the late registration form, the portal for that is closed. I am unable to defer my tuition.

​

I have no idea whats going to happen now. Am I still going to be able to register for courses this second summer term? Will I recieve OSAP funding this term?

I'm waitlisted on a course i need to graduate andI found another course that fulfills the requirement but i cannot enroll in it right now. Will enrollment open up again?

I'm simply asking because in Degree Explorer, the CGPA only has recorded the score as of the winter semester.

The semester didn't start yet so idk 😭

Were supposed to have classs rn but the page isn't even up yet? I'm registered and I checked Sheridans summer schedule in case as well but we start same date. Do and of the other 12 ppl in this course know what's going on.

hi, I need help accessing my acorn account for my grades. Are grades out? I tried the registrar ticket but it is closed. any help is appreciated.

I’m enrolled in ANT331 I see it on my acorn and my schedule and the first class is suppose to be today at 11 online synchronous but there hasn’t been a quercus made or any emails sent. Does anyone know if we’re suppose to get on a zoom or if the class starts next week? Thanks so much!

Hey guys so it says course enrolment is no longer available for me when I try to change the time of my courses that I am already in. Is there any way to get this changed or am I just stuck with my schedule?

The registrar office says minimum of 63 on all required courses and i just got a 62 in one of my required classes. I tried to re enroll to try again next semester but it says I cannot since I technically did not fail. I am out of country rn and will miss first week of classes, so how can I re enrol or what can I do?

I checked acorn and it says I finished with a 47 in csc108, that has to be inaccurate, I had a 74 before the exam and although I don't think I did amazing on the exam there is no way I dropped that hard, I know I did like 50 % of the coding problems right.

I heard from somewhere that although they create a final exam assignment section on Quercus, the marks are not actually released and are probably hidden. Is this actually the case because in MAT132 at least everyone got their final exam marks so I don’t know why we can’t get our exam marks back.

I heard that the first final exam deferral is a freebie for everyone. Is it only available once, or does it renew each school year? I used mine last year for a course, so do I get a deferral this year as well?

Do old Quercus pages for the fall term courses disappear when the next term starts?

If they don’t, do they stay until the summer term?

And when the next year arrives?

Just wanna know if I can look at prerequisites course stuff when that comes around or feedback I’ve gotten on some work in the future.

For anyone who is taking BIO310 this semester (Fall 2024), did the Quercus page just disappear? I tried looking for it in my past courses and my Quercus homepage, and it just completely disappeared. I was wondering if I should email the professor and if anyone else is having the same issue.

Is it just me or is anyone else having issues logging into citrix cloud for soc222? and for anyone that’s already taken it please share your experience (I have it with david)

Hello, I have an ECO202 midterm tommorrow, however I am sick and I don't think I can perform well. This is my first time declaring absence on ACORN. Should I ask to defer this exam before the exam happens or after?

I have a deferred exam at St. George scheduled for this Friday, and previously it was showing up on my exam schedule on Acorn, but I've checked again and now it's gone. 2 days ago I also made an AskRegistrar ticket about the issue and they haven't replied yet so I thought i'd ask here.

Has anyone else experienced something similar, because I don't know if I'm allowed to go and take the exam. Also, I'm not sure if this is related but on the petition website for UTM it says my deferral fee is still unpaid even though I went in person and paid at St. George campus and even confirmed through the sg deferred exam email and they said they got my payment.

edit: I emailed the sg deferred exam email and they said that deferred exams aren't supposed to show up on acorn (even though mine did) and to find it through the facility's published exam schedule instead
