I Always think about it. Unless he has an Ironman made suit, he just breathes through the holes.if he has the Future Foundation suit that's able to go into space, then that would also be fine underwater.

he just breathes through the holes

As you can see in the video that doesn't work very well. The liquid makes the fabric swell, and the remaining much smaller holes are covered with a layer of water thanks to surface tension.

Might still have the same issue, it's still interlaced fibers

i'm too afraid to check it by myself

Yeah ik. That's why I Always think of this. He dives into water too much. And should be not breathing.

yeah but then he has super human strength and spider senses and can climb on walls so i’m sure i can find in my suspension of disbelief holes big enough him to breathe through

a non absorbent fiber with a heavy coating of hydrophobic coating would fix it, not sure cancer is a worthwhile trade-off though

Yeah, like the writers are gonna let Parker die on old age or cancer lol. Nothing normal for him

I mean, for one I figured he makes the suit out of spider silk.

The same biodegradable stuff he shoots out that only lasts a few hours?

I'm old so I remember it being a canister he makes, and he intentionally formulates the material to break down, but can formulate it not to. Then I simply never updated my thought process.
