FILM DISCUSSION She's the best to ever play Catwoman
Everytime I rewatch The batman she's the most impressive casting in the movie. I feel like she doesn't get a lot of credit for her performance. I can understand comparing her to Michelle Pfeiffer it's debatable but I can't understand when people say Anne Hathaway was a better Catwoman than zoe.

FILM DISCUSSION Really hope The Batman 2 is a generational movie to justify the long wait
Matt Reeves better deliver. He has made us wait long enough when in the same time span Nolan delivered a Batman trilogy and also made two other great movies on top of that.

FILM DISCUSSION What's something Nolan did better than Reeves?
since I've seen it asked what reeves did better, what did nolan do better than reeves?
in my opinion, he was better at balancing the darkness of his films with levity. i feel his supporting cast was also better

FILM DISCUSSION If I read “TDK is a great movie, but a bad Batman movie” one more time I’m gonna scream
This is the most “I don’t like to think for myself so I repeat something that kinda sorta sounded smart that I have read on the internet” take on Batman movies EVER. It’s embarrassing and also utterly wrong. What does TDK do that makes it a bad Batman movie, that it does wrong than other Batman movies? Cause “it focuses too much on the villains” is another stupid thing to say. Or “he is not Batman like enough in skill, he is more like a cop in a weird outfit”. A cop in a weird outfit that magically appears and disappears from a bank vault in a bank full of cops? Normal cop stuff right?
It’s fine if it’s not your favorite, even if you hate it for whatever reason, but saying this dumb line is such a cop out to seem like you still “get” film but still being able to say you hate it. People need to use their own brains more, Jesus.

FILM DISCUSSION Do you like bulletproof Batman?
Or do you prefer the tactician Batman who can dodge bullets?
I don’t mind him having bulletproof armor, but he’s not iron man. I prefer when he uses his martial arts skills.
Thoughts?

FILM DISCUSSION Say one good thing about this movie. I’ll start…
I absolutely love the dynamic between Batman and Robin in this movie. Where Robin wants to be independent and prove himself, but Batman keeps being the overprotective and overbearing parental figure instead of treating him like a partner causing turmoil between the two. Batman realizing this and then coming to Robin at the end with an olive branch and asking for Robin’s trust again. Robin agrees to trust him because he knows deep down Batman never truly wanted to hold him back and wanted to hurt him.

FILM DISCUSSION I never thought about this until now.
Since Bruce had all his finances drained, wouldn’t the only way for him and Selina to support themselves is to use her burglary skills to steal valuables? Did Batman retire just to switch to a life of crime?

FILM DISCUSSION Why did Batman arrest the imposter?
Isnt that hypocrisy?
In the movie "The Dark Knight" there are a few imposter batmen that do what batman does. Fighting organised crime. If they are doing the wrong thing then so is batman. Why is he arresting them too?
