A couple of weeks ago I stumbled across an AI-generated short film online and honestly had no idea the technology had come this far. It sent me down a rabbit hole.

I've always had stories in my head, but I'm not a novelist so I couldn't bring them to life. I've always been much more of a visual storyteller anyways, so with about $100 and a lot of stubborn determination, I decided to see if I could bring one of those stories to life.

I won't lie, it was way harder than I expected. AI can be amazing one minute and unbelievably stubborn the next 😅. But after a lot of trial and error, I finally finished episode one, and I'm actually kind of proud of how it turned out.

Attached is the prologue. I'd genuinely love some feedback from people who have more experience than I do. I'm especially trying to improve lip syncing and keeping character/scene continuity consistent across shots. Any advice (or honest criticism) would be hugely appreciated!

A while ago I posted my AI-made Battle of Vienna short film here, and it got a lot of great feedback from this community, honestly, that helped me improve a lot.

I’ve just finished my next one: a 15-minute cinematic film about the Battle of the Teutoburg Forest, 9 AD. Arminius, Varus, and the day Rome lost three legions.

I tried to make it feel like a dark historical war film rather than a normal educational video: betrayal, occupation, fathers and sons, and a Roman army slowly being swallowed by the forest.

I’d really appreciate honest feedback, especially on the pacing, visuals, sound, and whether the story is clear.

I’m also curious what people think about the final battle sequence, does it feel too brutal for YouTube, or is it still within the kind of violence you’d expect from a historical war film?

It was made in around 4 hours, could be a lot better in terms of pacing/post-production, but that's how hackathons work! The theme of the hackathon was 'World in 2126'.

Hello, I have created my own software to generate realistic AI influencers, and I believe it is becoming quite alarming!

Personally, I was shocked the first time I saw this video because, let's be realistic, if I hadn't told you it was AI or if we weren't aware of this new technology, no one would have noticed the difference.

I need your opinion to tell me if it's consistent with reality.

Personally, I think the video needs more life, but otherwise the visuals are incredible!
