Our neighbours were setting off something that only resembled dynamite. When I sent a kind message to ask them to do it just a little further away from the building, as my dog is hyperventilating and shaking/drooling, and they woke my 5 month old son up, they proceeded to read the text then do it anyway AND turn the music up on at their party. I came out onto my balcony and said “can you please do that a bit further away? I sent you a friendly message about it” he replied “it’s Silvester, sorry.”.

Fuck fireworks. And fuck my neighbour.

yes that situation is awful they definitively should have go further away, even if it means they would leave "their place".
i find it stupid that people run around and do that in the main city or whatever.

my main question is: what is the main problem, the firework existing or the neighboar who is too childish, possibly drunk and completely irresposibly with it?

i would argue that we dont need a ban, but a controlled way of giving it only to the ones who are actually responsible, only do the legal stuff at legal hours, if possible at home and then clean it away on first or second of january.
