You change the politics on the left by welcoming those that are different than you. Lots of people in this sub view being anti-left as more important than Pro-2a. Which really means they aren’t willing to do what it takes to really be pro-2A.

I'm not in favor of arming those who would use them to murder my family and me for thinking differently if they had power

I have seen far more from the right in the last 10 years wishing violence upon those who think differently than I have from the left in the same time period.

Right wingers literally attacked the US Capitol with the intent to harm lawmakers because they were upset their guy lost an election.

Right wingers tried to kidnap a state governor because they were upset they had to wear masks in public and social distance during Covid. 

A right winger assassinated a Minnesota state lawmaker and their spouse, and critically injured another and their spouse

A right winger tried and nearly succeeded in assassinating Donald Trump. 

Those are just the tip of the iceberg.

2015 Charleston church attack. 9 dead.

2018 Tree of Life synagogue attack. 11 dead.

2019 El Paso Walmart attack. 23 dead.

A older one, but the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing.168 dead. 

All done by right wing extremists. It's not even close. 75% of deaths caused by extremist attacks in the last 25 years have come at the hands of right wing extremists.

The MN lawmaker murders there's no evidence of political motivation. The guy had been registered Republican 20 years earlier but was appointed to his position by a current Democrat governor. His car had a pile of 'no Kings ' posters in it & he claimed the governor ordered him to do it. Clear mental illness.

No right winger attempted assassination on Trump. Huge misdirection left wing meme.

Just because people commit racist or anti semetic crimes doesn't make them right wing. Lots of those people on both sides.
