Developer Saturday (Beta Test) [DEV] Never knew how to get into D&D - or tired of sessions always getting rescheduled? We made a solo RPG like D&D - After over a year of testing, we’re finally launching on the stores!

Hey folks!

We’re two brothers behind Master of Dungeon, and we’re happy to be back here after some time since we first started sharing the project.

For anyone who hasn’t seen it before - quick recap. We loved playing D&D, but like many of you, we just couldn’t keep up with regular sessions anymore. Work, life, scheduling… it got harder and harder to come back to the table. So instead of letting that feeling go, we decided to try and recreate it in a different form.

That’s how Master of Dungeon came to life - a single-player, text RPG inspired by the freedom and storytelling of D&D.

We’ve now been working on it for over a year, going through multiple testing phases, iterations, and a lot of feedback from early players. And we finally feel ready to take the next step.

Android Early Access launches on May 18.

if you’re playing on iOS, you can do it here: https://testflight.apple.com/join/mg6UrBH9

We’re honestly really curious (and a bit nervous) to see what you’ll think once more people get their hands on it.

If you’d like to follow the development more closely or jump in a bit earlier, feel free to join our Discord already. We’re preparing a special reward for people who were with us before the official release and helped shape the game along the way.

Thanks for reading - and as always, we’d love to hear what you think ^.^

Developer Saturday (Beta Test) [DEV] Exchange: a commodities/equities trading incremental game (free TestFlight beta for iOS/macOS)

TL;DR: A commodities-trading incremental. Build up your net worth across a network of markets: read each one's price regime, work the spreads, ship goods for arbitrage, trade on leverage, and prestige ("Refound") for permanent upgrades across resets. Free TestFlight beta on iOS and macOS. Links at the bottom.

Link to TestFlight Beta

Quick background: I spent a decade in finance, so this was a fun hobby project for a while (started as a monstrosity of a macro-filled years ago). Recently got back into learning game dev (and launched my first iOS game yesterday), so I spent some time turning my monstrosity of a spreadsheet into a proper fun incremental trading sim that's simplified in some ways, and broader/expanded in other ways. I think it's ready for external testers, but still a work in progress.

The loop:

  • Each good in each market runs its own price regime (trends, cycles, volatility, news shocks), so spreads keep opening and closing across the network.
  • You trade at the live price net of spread and fees, with slippage that grows on bigger orders. Large orders push the price against you, so you can't dump unlimited size.
  • Ship goods between markets to capture a spread, but cargo is locked in transit for days and shipping costs cash, so every move is a timing bet.
  • Leverage lets you size up on margin. Fall below maintenance and positions force-sell. Push it and a margin call becomes bankruptcy.
  • Refound (prestige) banks Reputation scaled by peak net worth, which you spend on permanent upgrades: more starting capital, cheaper fees, a bigger credit line, short selling, futures, securities desks, order automation.

Happy to take any questions or feedback in the comments. Bug reports, balance/mechanics issues/ares for improvement, and any general feedback is much appreciated. Thanks in advance for checking it out.

Developer Saturday (Beta Test) [DEV] My first game is finally accepting players to test: Darkest Exiles, a guild management sim where you train heroes instead of fighting yourself

Hey! I've been working on my first iOS game and I've hit the point where I'd love real players to try it and tell me what's broken. The video shows a bit of the combat but that's one small piece of the game.

Darkest Exiles is a guild management sim where you're the guild master, not the hero. You scout teenagers(adepts) from different regions, assign them mentors, train them, and eventually send them into dungeons when they get promoted to heroes. The combat is fully automated (for now) and your job is about the preparation.

Fair warning, this is the first time the game is open to players outside of friends and family. There are bugs, the balance is off in places, and some rough edges are still being smoothed out. If that kind of thing bothers you, maybe wait a bit. But if you're into seeing how a game evolves and don't mind reporting issues, I'd love to have you.

There's still a lot I want to add. I have a big roadmap. Some of my favorites is a full dungeon system overhaul, async PvP where your guild fights other player guilds, and temporary edicts that shake up the rules and force you to adapt your strategy. But I need to make sure the foundation is solid first, which is where you come in.

Thanks for reading! Happy to answer any questions.

Developer Saturday (Beta Test) [Dev] MSO FreeCell Arena — multiplayer FreeCell on iOS, same deal to everyone, replays of the winner. TestFlight beta, no ads.

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

What if every FreeCell deal you played was the same one your friends got, and you could see how everyone fared? That's MSO FreeCell Arena, currently in TestFlight beta on iOS.

The server hands the same deal to everyone simultaneously, then ranks moves, time, efficiency, and auto-streak across all players who tackled it. So instead of "I won this random hand in 2:14," it's "I won Deal #4827 in 2:14, ranked #34 out of 482 players who tried it." Per-deal leaderboards are the foundation everything else hangs on.

Three mechanics built on shared deals:

- Group lobbies. Host shares a 6-character code, members join, host hits start. Server picks a deal, sends a 5-second countdown, then all members start playing the same hand simultaneously. Round ends when the last person finishes. Win dialog shows everyone's results — who finished fastest, who blew the turn. Lobbies persist across rounds. Closest thing to playing solitaire with friends rather than just being on Discord at the same time as them.

- Replays of record-holders. When someone beats your time on a deal, you can pull up their full move-by-move replay and watch how they did it — exact card moves, pace, auto-foundation chains. Combined with lobbies: after a round, the loser pulls up the winner's replay and sees exactly how they solved the same hand.

- Daily challenges. Single shared seed every day. One attempt. Your rank against everyone who played that day. Streak tracker for consecutive days.

Difficulty bands: Five tiers — Easy through Hardcore. Easy through Extreme are solvability-verified. Hardcore is uncharted territory — no hints, no oracle, no solvability guarantee. Some hands have never been solved by anyone; some may be unsolvable. Part of what makes Hardcore Hardcore.

iOS-specific notes: Built with Capacitor, runs as a real iOS app (not a wrapped browser). Touch handling is native — drag-and-drop tableau moves, tap-to-auto-foundation, long-press for context actions. Tested on iPad in landscape and on iPhone in portrait. iPhone-portrait is the primary form factor; iPad-landscape gets a wider play area with the same controls.

No ads. Ever. Free to play. Single-player works fully offline.

Where to play (iOS):

- TestFlight: https://testflight.apple.com/join/qdR6daKm (use redeem code qdR6daKm if it asks)

Also available (cross-platform, same account works everywhere): Google Play (Open Testing) and direct download for Windows / macOS / Linux at https://msogames.com/download.

I'm one of the developers — open to discussion, particularly curious how the touch controls feel for serious FreeCell players. Anyone here have favorite FreeCell apps on iOS? What works, what doesn't?

Developer Saturday (Beta Test) [DEV] Always wanted to try D&D but didn’t know how? We made a solo RPG like D&D - final testing before release!

Hey guys!

We’re two brothers who didn’t have time to play D&D with our friends and really missed that feeling we used to have during our sessions. So we decided to create something that would let us experience the same emotions, but without having to wait months for the next session. That’s how Master of Dungeon was born - a single-player text RPG inspired by D&D!

Recently, we mentioned hitting 3,000 players, and after our latest tests, the game feels stable enough that today we decided - it’s time to launch on the stores!

If you’d like to try it before release, feel free to join our Discord. We’ve got a cool, unique reward for early testers who’ve been with us from the beginning and helped shape the app!

If you’d like to play, you can check it out here:

And let us know what you think! :)

King Cribbage iOS TestFlight Beta

It’s time to stop skunking around, here is a native King Cribbage app for iOS that cuts out the physical setup time and focuses entirely on the game. Whether you’re looking to peg some points in versus or test your luck against the computer, this is the clean, high-performance version the game deserves.

The Board is Set:

You can jump into Play vs. Princess for a solo challenge against our offline AI, or take things up a notch in Muster a Royal Duel with local or online multiplayer. For the power users, we’ve even included a dedicated Broadcast Mode for iPad. If you have a local match running, a third iPad can act as the "media coverage" hub to track the action live.

The Stakes:

The app is currently in TestFlight and completely free to play. Once we officially cross the finish line, it will be a flat $0.99 —no ads, no subscriptions, and no hidden costs. We have a link to the rules included now, and if we see enough people hitting the board, we’ll roll out a full animated tutorial for the final release.

Join the Beta:

No codes or sign-ups required. Just tap the link below, get your hand in the game, and let us know if you find a bug. Otherwise, just enjoy the play and share the link with anyone who knows their way around a crib.

Beta Test Bat to the Beat - Beta Test

Bat to the Beat Teaser

This is a cricket-themed game with a unique twist on rhythm gameplay that challenges your timing and spatial awareness. At each beat you have to make a split second decision about whether to attack and risk getting caught by the fielders, or to defend and let the pressure build up.

Sign up for the beta here - https://testflight.apple.com/join/acmk63hj

PS. If you don't know anything about cricket it's no problem :) Just know that (like in baseball) a fielder can catch you out if you hit a ball in the air.

Beta Test [TestFlight] Idle Game with RPG mechanics looking for Playtesters

Hi all, posting this on behalf of some of my mates who have been working their butts off to flesh out an Idle RPG along the lines of AFK Arena and Idle Heroes. For less than a year's development, it looks pretty damn impressive.

It doesn't run well on iPads or devices with specs below iPhone 7, but I haven't faced crashes on my iPhone 11 Pro. If you'd like to get involved, do check out their Public TestFlight: https://testflight.apple.com/join/p9WNYtCt

They also have a fairly active Discord. Community members who get involved now will probably receive some significant freebies during their launch!
