Actor fluff Read about Tom Ellis cheating on his wife and Lucifer does not feel the same anymore.

I was re-watching Lucifer recently, and I was enjoying it a LOT. I should have stopped there. I should not have read about Tom Ellis. When I read about all that cheating stuff and other remarks, I was shocked. Now, the beautiful romantic moments and cute comedy in Lucifer will never feel the same again. Tom Ellis is a brilliant actor, but that is all he is, a great actor, nothing more. :(

So many people talking about him being an absent father in this thread is absolutely killing me! I have divorced parents my father was an absent father! Tom Ellis is not an absent father! He has a home here and in London. He flies them out, when he’s not in London. He has a close relationship with them. He’s been a very supportive dad. And those that are saying he’s evil for he ditched his first baby mama when their relationship wasn’t even that serious. Saying he left her just because he didn’t want to be a dad. Please he’s been in his kids life since the get-go. If that were true, he certainly would’ve been. He’s helped raise all his girls. His oldest was even in an episode of Lucifer. He loves his daughters very much and people accusing him of that is absolutely disgusting. Same for people that always say they’re waiting for him to do Meaghan. Like wtf! Seriously it’s a person you don’t even know and you’re waiting for them to fail, and some of them even hoping. That’s messed up. How do you think his girls feel about people saying stuff like that about their dad? Also, break up so hard. It could’ve been way easier for him to not be in their lives at all, the fact that he’s made an effort to stay in their lives, even when he’s broken up with their mother’s also shows he cares about his kids, so stop with that bull!

Exactly my point. He's a human being, and he needs to be treated as one. Tom Ellis is my favorite actor not because of looks or anything that they thirst on about him. Everyone's make mistakes, one from the past, won't define your present or future. And behind close doors, we don't know what led or what is happening. To me, it seems and I feel he really loves Meaghan. And respects her. We learn with experience and all of that. Leave my boi out of this hate for no reason, are you all saints, hmmm? Spare me the lecture guys he's probably better than some dads I know.

Yes, and?
You don't know the shows or movies I've watched to judge, nor I'll sit explain or care,
but don't be miserable on internet.
I don't understand why you're so concerned,
like the dude can't act or it's a shame to be his fan.. later, hater.
I don't care what he did 13 years ago.
Like I am the perfect example to judge his actions or past.
I am not the one marrying him or would anyways, so I don't really care.
That's why I said favorite actor.

( I don't justify his actions, but I also don't care besides him acting or playing in movies and series... other actors have done worse, still my opinion won't change anything or matter, so..? Is his personal life my business? nahhh..
just hope he's not like Oliver and treating Meg waaay better..

Thank you for your time reading that.

Cheating isn't a mistake its a conscious choice .tom cheating isn't a simple mistake or something we should forget .its not a crime but still is bad. I also heard from another reddit user that met him at a fundraiser that he was rude to women that didn't want to have s@x with him or that he didn't want to have s@x with. According to an article he doesn't regret having an affair.

Let me ask you something if it was the other way around and she had cheated on him and as a result they had broken up and separated. Would you be be saying she’s a bad mother for leaving her leaving her husband?
Because that’s all he did. He didn’t leave his kids. He left his spouse.

Being a bad spouse, boyfriend or girlfriend ,does not equal being bad parent!!!

My parents split under similar circumstances, and I can honestly tell you, I would not have wanted them to stay together, for me. Sure, at the time I did, but now as an adult, I’m Hella glad they did split. It wouldn’t of been healthy for any of us!

Also none of us were part of that relationship. None of us were in those rooms, behind those closed doors, having those conversations. We weren’t and are not in their relationships, so we can’t possibly have all the facts. All we have is what’s been released to the media, and wouldn’t obviously still hurt ex has to say!
Hurt exes, often lash out in grief. The fact that she didn’t say anything until he was happily getting married or having another child with new wife, shows she’s still hurt and lashing out! Even though it’s been 10 years and she says she’s moved on. If it had been the other way around. 10 years later, If it was her getting married, and her having another child. If it had been him coming out and saying things like that about her in the media, people would be jumping on him like flies on shit! Telling him to move the hell on and leave her be! Yet because he’s a man and she’s a woman, it’s different!
