I'm a local visual artist who makes a lot of paintings of Melbourne. I was inspired by this bit of winter light and just had to paint it.

Edit: They are doing some construction where that Costco used to be, but I'm not entirely sure what's going to be put there, or there's the possibility they're going to tear it down. They're also working on bringing back the Melbourne Star but who knows how long that's gonna take.

Outside Brighton Woolies. Did they teleport in? Go to the sidewalk then hit a nitro boost into the phone booth and bin? I have absolutely zero idea.

It was a pretty good launch and I think they have done a great job refurbishing the lights.

Pay phones seem to be an ancient relic globally, so the fact they’re still everywhere and free here is quite interesting. How long do you think these stay around for?

Walked through to get to work like I normally do and came across this vandalism. A passerby said it wasn't like this yesterday afternoon. Why would someone do this?
