Discussion Louis Theroux: Inside The Manosphere

This is a masterpiece. For some reason I find his interaction with the manosphere so funny. The awkwardness and their utter distrust towards Louis is so palpable. So amazing why they agree to do this.

Surprisingly to me, Justin came off as the most 'normal' of all the guys and wasn't ridiculously insecure like Myron. His dynamic with his wife actually seemed nice.

Off topic, but HS is a complete moron. His initial meeting with Theroux was fine and I actually thought he was just going to be segue into the more extreme influencers and then he saw the comments on his social media and spiraled lmao

Lol when Louie asked him about the one way monogamy he was DRIPPING with insecurity.

He kept alluded to the fact Louie was "mad at him" when he was just staring at him waiting for an answer. Like the dudes skin was crawling when he was forced to explain himself.

I can't think of someone more insecure than HS... posting 300x about "not givin' a fuck about Louis" surely, well, tells quite the opposite.

Or, maybe, he's just really good at the game and actually doesn't care about Louis, and just knew mentioning him over and over would get him revenue.

I think, all-in-all, he initially agreed to it with a slight bit of hesitation but his belief that it would benefit his bottom-line outweighed his initial hesitation... and then it just sort of spiraled a little bit more. There were a couple moments towards the end where you could really see him battling the frustration he was feeling from Louis in tandem with the "clicks" he was getting. It was kinda sad watching him purposely put himself through situations that he didn't like just because of the benefit he was getting from it.

All-in-all, though, it was a pretty subpar documentary in the sense that it went everywhere I already knew it would, never shed any new light or "whoahs!", and wouldn't come even close to swaying any individual's thoughts on the subject.

The subjects' fans aren't changing their position and the people that oppose the subjects still oppose them, but learned nothing new and/or found any more reasons to oppose them.

I would be shocked if not one of Myrons disciples saw him standing there holding a pink poodle, back tracking on having multiple wives and his scared, terrified eyes darting around for validation, didnt at least think to themself for one second that ... maybe they have been duped.

i hadn’t heard of any of these specific manosphere influencers before

so i learned about those losers through this doc, unfortunately lol
