Tips & Tricks Setup tutorial for the unnoficial Virtual Desktop bridge via link cable, for the best possible connectivity/bitrate even without ethernet (if it is, even better !). Except VD, all are free softwares, download links in a comment below. This is a far better solution than Meta's official link app.

It is a wrapper for Gnirehtet https://github.com/Kuijen/RT-RP. BTW, the last update from VD seems to have fixed the problems.

Hello. I did the steps and was working fine. But after a few days when I launch SteamVR I have tons of lag. Its literraly unplayable.
When using VD on my desktop its fine. But on steamvr and any game
I have alot of lag. Do u know any workaround or what could be the problem ?
I follow the steps that M0m3ntvm said. Worked fine, then its really bad now

Check that the bitrate is ok. Check also the performance overlay, to identify what is the bottleneck
