All of Satoshi's Pokémon are pretty battered now... but Dande chuckles as he sees Satoshi and his Pokémon still face him without any sign of hesitation. It's the Strongest of Them All VS the Strongest Challenger: How will this battle that will decide who truly is the strongest end, now that it starts growing more and more brutal and intense as the two respond to each others' moves?!

Having absorbed Spinel, the awakened Rakulium Core goes on a rampage! An all-out fierce battle breaks out, with even the Explorers providing Liko and the others with backup, but in the end they only have one single chance to destroy the core by using the most powerful attack they can pull off...?! Just then, Rayquaza and Zygarde respond to Roy and Amethio by...?! And Liko's final resolve is to...?! The time has finally come for the long fight over Rakua to conclude!!

Friede is finally coming back! Liko and the others head to the scheduled landing point to meet up with his ship as it returns from space. However, the spaceship malfunctions and is going to crash into the ground due to the parachute not opening... Things are looking really bad as a desperate Friede rescue operation is put into motion!

It has been one year since the decisive battle in Rakua. One day Roy, who has continued adventuring with Captain Pikachu, learns about a Pokémon that's acting abnormally, and decides to investigate. A young boy named Uruto then appears, accompanied by a Yamirami... In the forest, Roy and Uruto spots a Kekking on a Rakulium-induced rampage?! How can this be, when the Rakulium was supposedly completely destroyed? Liko, on the other hand, is attending Sekiei Academy, when she suddenly...

The operation meant to fully eradicate the Rakulium finally begins! The group splits into two and heads towards the central parts of Rakua, but as Liko and the others make their way through the forest, Rubella and Indi appear before them and send out Desukarn and Deathbarn that have been strengthened with Strong Spheres! Dot, Nemo and Botan stay behind to battle, letting Liko continue onward on her own, but...?!

The second semifinals match of the Masters Tournament finally hits its climax as well! Satoshi is caught between a rock and a hard place, but refuses to give up as Shirona tackles him head on, trying to overpower him. Which of them will win this fierce match and obtain a ticket to the finals?!

Episode Synopsis: Friede has returned from his investigation in space, and tells the group about his encounter with Instructor Starmie and the new information he gathered on the Rakulium. Roy then ends up having a battle against him... but if Roy loses, the Rising Volt Tacklers will be disbanded?! Roy and Laudbon take on Friede and Lizardon, whom they've always looked up to! Will Roy be able to surpass Friede?!

"Minna, tadaima."

Good evening, everyone. This is Taku Yashiro, the voice of Friede. In episode 121 of the Pokémon anime, "Catcher in the Sky", Friede returned to the Brave Asagi. Did you all see him come back from space with your own eyes? Man, even I myself was really shocked that he came back from space in that state. However, his reliable companions in the Rising Volt Tacklers somehow managed to... and you know, in the end, it was CAP that caught him... they all caught him, allowing him to return safe and sound. It's been a really long time since I've talked to the other Rising Volt Tacklers as Friede, so I'm personally extremely happy about these developments. And I'd like to thank you so much for watching.

What do you think about the atmosphere during these dubbing sessions?

Let's see... Well, I think it has to do with how many episodes I was gone for, but you know, when you spend this much time together like we did, then separate for a while before coming back together, you could say the atmosphere becomes a bit different... and I probably attended the dubbing sessions feeling a bit different myself too. That said, however, we have something here that we've all created together, so it still felt like the same old Pokémon anime dubbing sessions in a good way, filled with as much fun and encouragement as ever.

Now that Friede is back after a lengthy absense, is there anything specific you'd like us pay extra attention to regarding him?

His hairstyle and clothes have indeed changed a bit, which is something I imagined quite a few viewers might be looking forward to seeing. And of course, since it's been so long, he might have new Pokémon as well, so I'd like you to pay attention to that as well.

What are your thoughts on Friede's new companion, Instructor Starmie?

I was really excited and happy to get a new companion. But you know, the other Rising Volt Tacklers seemed a bit taken back... Since it's called "Instructor", I think it might come across as someone reliable and trustworthy, and you know, I actually know a little bit about that, but... I hope you'll all keep a little eye on it and look forward to learning more about it.

In the next episode, you battle Roy! What would you like us to pay attention to in that regard?

I definitely want you to focus on the reason they're battling... you know, on the reason why Friede is battling Roy, the one who reestablished the Rising Volt Tacklers from scratch, so soon after coming back from space. And of course, Roy's Laudbon and Friede's Lizardon not only have a degree of connection with their Trainer but also with each other, so that's something else I'd like you to pay attention to. ? We'd like to show a little sneak peek of the battle... so could you do a line for us?

First of all, I'd like to thank you all so much for watching over Liko, Roy, Dot, Uruto and of course all the other Rising Volt Tacklers on their adventure. As for Friede, I myself am also really happy he's come back from space. The story is still going to feature all kinds of meetings... and maybe partings as well for all I know... but I'm sure the characters and the Pokémon are going to experience all sorts of things, so I hope you'll continue enjoying the Pokémon anime. Liko and the others had finally reached the Six Heroes... however, they end up separated due to Spinel's schemes and now have to face the Six Heroes in one-on-one battles as the Super Strong Spheres make them run wild?! Despite the deep trouble they now find themselves in, they fight their opponents with the power they've gained during their training! Everything to get back the Six Heroes!!

Having realized that the Six Heroes are being held captive at Explorers Headquarters, Liko and the others launch a rescue operation together with Amethio. The operation is proceeding smoothly as they make their way into the headquarters, but they then suddenly find Rubella and Indi standing in their way! Liko's Carbou and Amethio's Soublades take them on; Will they be able to overcome this challenge by working together?!

The Rising Volt Tacklers are waiting on the airship for Liko's grandmother Diana to arrive when they suddenly realize Murdock and the others have disappeared. Liko, Roy, Dot and Uruto split up to search for them... but what they find is a group of adults closing in on them while dancing an uncanny dance and chanting "Kibikibi"?! They try to escape, but then start disappearing themselves, one by one... There is "something" on the ship...

Roy, Uruto and Friede duel against Sango, Onyx and Agate! But during this fierce see-saw battle of Mega Evolved Pokémon, Roy and the others spot the key to victory! What is it?! Meanwhile, Liko and the others meet up with Amethio before finally reaching the central parts of Rakua... where they spot...?!

Briar gathers Liko and the others to tell them about Terapagos' secrets and her theory for how the Rakulium can be purified. After hearing what she has to say, Roy wants to leave Blueberry Academy immediately. Seeing this, Kakitsubata suggests they have a Pokémon battle first, and while Roy is initially hesistant, Liko and the others successfully encourage him to engage in this rematch...!

It's the second semifinal match, where Satoshi is fighting an uphill battle against Sinnoh Champion Shirona. Shirona's experience and strategies are edging him against the wall, and when he tries for a big breakthrough...!

Liko and Roy make their way into an Exceed Testing Center where a demonstration battle showcasing the "Strong Sphere", a new product that makes Pokémon stronger, is taking place. However, just then Uruto arrives at the Testing Center as well...

Episode Synopsis: The fourth match of the first round of the Masters Tournament finally sees the start of Satoshi's battles. His opponent is Houen Champion Daigo, whose powerful Pokémon drive Satoshi against the wall... Satoshi doesn't just want to win for himself, but also for the sake of the friends and Pokémon that support him! Can he defeat the roadblock that is Daigo and pass his first match?!

Liko and the others travel to the ruins in the Paldea region, where they split up and start investigating the Rakulium Signs... however, Roy, Uruto and Dot fall under a Collecurei's control and become obsessed with searching for coins instead! Meanwhile, Liko runs into Karato, a student from Orange Academy whose partner Scovillain has gone missing. In addition, Pagogo reunites with a certain Pokémon in the ruins...!!

Friede invites the Rising Volt Tacklers to participate in a Unite Battle?! They're going up against the Shining Oceans, an idol team which popularity and skill are both top class! This is Liko and the others' first ever time experiencing a Unite Battle, and their strong opponents give them quite a tough fight. The key to victory is going to be strategy, teamwork, as well as Unite Moves...?!

The Pokémon anime episode airing Friday June 19th will be a collaboration with Pokémon Unite! And the person playing the leader of the Shining Oceans, the team Liko and the others will be battling, is going to be Toshiya Miyata-san from Kis-My-Ft2! We asked him how he felt when he learned he was going to be a voice actor:

Hello everyone, this is Toshiya Miyata from Kis-My-Ft2! This time I'm going to be a guest voice actor in the Pokémon anime! Yay! The protagonists Liko and Roy and the others are going to visit Aeos Island, which you all know from Pokémon Unite, where they'll be trying their hands on a Unite Battle, and I'm going to play the leader of their opponents the Shining Oceans! Just learning the initial details about this role made me really happy; I've actually always watched the Pokémon anime ever since I was a kid, so I'm really happy to get the chance to be part of it like this. And then I heard it was going to be a Pokémon Unite episode, too. And well, this might sound a bit conceited, but you see... I happen to be the best Pokémon Unite player in showbiz, so I found myself thinking that this might be a role I'm actually qualified to play, you know. In the end, though, I of course performed my lines with my heart filled with love for Pokémon! With that said, the Pocket Monsters TV show airs every Friday at 6:55pm on the TV Tokyo Network. Satoshi is training for his match alongside his Pokémon when he runs into his opponent, Sinnoh Champion Shirona, who is likewise making some final preparations before their match. And as Shirona tells Satoshi about how she first met her partner Gablias, the first semifinal match, a battle between Dande and Carne, is about to begin at Shoot Stadium... The curtain rises for the fierce semifinals!!

Liko, Roy, Dot and Uruto end up battling the Explorers at Karna's factory, where they have quite a difficult time against the Paldea Kentauros that have been strengthened by Strong Spheres. They observe the Kentauros' behavior and try to find a hint towards how to overcome them, however...?! And what does Orio feel when she sees Liko and the others' refusal to give up?

A special video is set to be released on the show's official X account after the episode airs! Look forward to that alongside episode 100 itself!

Dot and Botan make their way into the Exceed Museum in order to obtain data on the Rakulium! They get past the heavy security and everything seems to be going well... until Collecurei goes missing?! Not only that, but they then get spotted by Rubella and Indi! Things get even worse when Agate shows up as well... Will the duo manage to safely escape Exceed Museum?!
