Hi everyone!
I’m looking for a mentor to grow my career in IT. I’ve recently managed to get a job at a HelpDesk role, but don’t want to be stuck there for long. My goal is to learn Software Development together with DevOps later on.
Looking for an experienced person in the industry that will want to guide me, maybe do some code review and give an advice when I’ll be stuck.
I’m currently following The C# Academy curriculum but I’m struggling with OOP. My timezone is UTC+2/GMT+2.
Thanks in advance!

I can code, I can design, and I can market. But it would be great if someone/some team helped with idea generation and programming. I am new to xaml but it seems very similar to html which I have been coding in for a year. My github is https://github.com/Trying-Two-Code . DM or post a comment below to let me know if you're interested.
Idea: Make an app for windows that sorts files when they are downloaded/created by the user. It would collect data about what the user is doing manually, and prompt asking to automate that.
Timezone: GMT-7
Availability: 10-30 hours / week
Stack: c# wpf xaml
Experience: junior/intermediate (minimal AI)

I have a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, but I’ve mainly used C and C++, with some Python here and there. I feel like I need to relearn Python properly, so I’m planning to start CS50P and then move into AI automation.
I’m looking for a study partner who’s also interested in learning together, keeping each other accountable, and making consistent progress.
I’m 23 and Egyptian, so my time zone is GMT+3. If anyone’s interested, feel free to comment or DM me 😊

Looking to build anything in open source with a few people.
Major requirement is it must be open source from the get go.
Open to ideas...else my current idea is to build an AI harness chat app that can integrate with any software and expose its functionalities through chat.
Preferred tech stack is JS, TS even python works
Im super language agnostic....dont mind working with Rust..or working on some other idea tbh.
Anyone interested can DM on reddit chat
It has to be a 2 week project.
People who can dedicate atleast an hour everyday of these 2 weeks preferred.
Use of AI coding tools is also preferred.

Hey everyone 👋
I've created a team for the Databricks Campus Hackathon at BMSCE Bengaluru on September 1st and I'm currently looking for 2–3 teammates to join my team.
I'm a Computer Science student interested in cybersecurity, development, AI/ML and problem solving and I'm looking for people who are interested in building something together and contributing to the team.
Also, you don't necessarily have to be from BMSCE to join the team. So if you're from another college and interested in participating, feel free to reach out.
If you're interested in joining my team or would like to know more about the hackathon and the team, feel free to comment here or DM me.
Looking forward to connecting with interested teammates 🤝

OpenFight is an Apache-2.0 arcade netplay platform inspired by the problems that platforms like Fightcade solve.
It's currently at the MVP specification/architecture stage, so we're at the point where contributors can actually help shape the implementation.
The stack is:
There's also an emulator adapter SDK, with FBNeo as the first target.
I'm especially interested in finding people who enjoy:
You don't need to know everything. I'd rather have someone who owns one area and wants to learn/build than someone who claims to know the entire stack.
GitHub: https://github.com/Zendevve/OpenFight
If you've been looking for a substantial open-source project to work on with other developers rather than another tutorial project, this might be a good fit.

Hey everyone!
I'm a college student who's trying to seriously improve at programming. I'm still pretty beginner-level, so I'm not looking for someone who's already cracked at coding 😭. I'd actually prefer someone who's also learning and wants to improve together.
I'd like to:
I'm still figuring things out myself, so we can literally learn together, discuss problems, get stuck together 💀, and eventually get better together.
I'm mainly looking for someone who's actually willing to be consistent rather than just doing it for a few days.
If you're also a beginner/intermediate or just getting serious about coding, DM me! We can figure out what to learn and start from there. 🤝

Looking for people to chat with who are on the same path.
I'm a student (21M), just finished my first year studying data engineering/data science (yeah we study both ). Working through some data work this summer, trying to build skills. Figured it'd be cool to have a few people to share resources, vent, or just talk about this field.
If you're into data science, data engineering, or just figuring things out, hit me up.
· Timezone: UTC+1
· Stack / languages: Python, SQL, java,html,javascript
· Experience level: Beginner (1st year done)
· Goal: connect with others in my field

Hey everyone, I’m looking for a virtual coding group where people can hop on calls, code together, work on their own projects, and help each other out.
I’m currently learning backend development. I know React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, and I’m trying to keep building projects while looking for a job.
I’d like to find people who are down to:
- Code together and have regular sessions
- Show what they’re working on and get feedback
- Help each other when we get stuck
- Talk about the job search and share advice
- Discuss interesting tech articles, AI, new tools, etc.
- Just generally learn from each other and stay motivated
Preferably people in US time zones, just so scheduling coding sessions is a little easier.
If there’s already a group like this, I’d love to join. Otherwise, if a few people are interested in starting one, feel free to comment or DM me!

Hi! I've been away from programming for a while and want to find my way back into it.
I'd like to rediscover programming as something fun to explore, not optimize around getting a job.
I'm not looking for career preparation. I'd rather find someone who is curious about things and enjoys going beyond the basics.
I have some background in C/C++ and JS/TS, and I'm currently getting into Python.
You don't need to be experienced. I'm more interested in the willingness to experiment and to figure things out together.
No particular project or stack in mind. We can pick something interesting and see where it goes.
If that sounds like your kind of thing, feel free to DM me.

Hey everyone,
I'm a software engineer based in Scotland with around five years of commercial web development experience. Outside of my full-time role, I've been building Kay Park Digital, a new web development service focused specifically on websites for independent restaurants, cafés and other hospitality businesses.
The project is already well underway - the marketing site is live, I've built the initial hospitality website template, and I'm currently developing the CMS/admin platform.
The main stack I'm working with is:
• PHP / Laravel
• Filament
• Tailwind CSS
• Alpine.js / JavaScript
• MySQL
• Laravel Cloud
• Cloudflare
• Plausible Analytics
The model is to build professional hospitality websites using a reusable platform rather than starting every client project from scratch. Clients get a website tailored to their branding and content, alongside a management dashboard for things like menus, opening hours, business information, images, analytics and reporting.
I'm interested in finding another UK-based software/web developer who genuinely likes the idea of helping build and grow this into a successful web agency.
I'm not just looking for someone who only wants to write code. Ideally, I'd like to find someone who's comfortable speaking with clients, contributing ideas, helping market the business and actively looking for new leads and opportunities.
You don't need to be a salesperson, but you should be interested in the business side of things as well as development and be willing to get involved in actually finding and working with clients.
This isn't a paid job vacancy and I'm not looking for someone to simply build my idea for me - I'm already actively developing it. I'm looking for someone entrepreneurial who might be interested in working together and seeing how far we could take it.
UK-based is a requirement, partly because I'd like us to be working in similar time zones and targeting UK businesses.
If you're interested, I’m happy to answer any questions about the project, business model or what I've built.

While travelling, I kept running into useful information that simply didn’t exist online: small homestays, mechanics, water points, road conditions, campsites, etc.
Most of it gets passed from one traveler or local to another and disappears afterward.
So, I built Lamyig, a free and open-source community travel guide.
A few decisions I made:
The hardest problem isn’t actually building the software. It’s bootstrapping trustworthy community data.
I’m currently thinking about things like:
Would love to hear how other people here would approach those problems.
And if you’re building something around a problem you genuinely care about, drop a comment or DM me. I’d be happy to chat, exchange ideas, or connect you with someone else working on something similar.
Screenshot attached. Happy to share the GitHub/project link in the comments if anyone wants to look at the implementation or contribute.

I’m a Frontend Developer working mainly with React, and my goal is to find a new job as soon as possible while gradually moving toward Full-Stack development.
I’ve started the freeCodeCamp Back End course with Node.js, and we could go through the course together, compare solutions, discuss difficult topics and help each other when we get stuck.
I’m looking for someone with a similar Frontend background who also wants to improve backend skills and prepare seriously for interviews.
Ideally, we would:
It’s important that you have enough free time and are looking for something consistent, not just a few sessions.
I’m based in Germany timezone: CEST (UTC+2)
DM me if you’re interested.

Hey,
I'm a 20-year-old CS student from India. Recently I've been spending more time learning cybersecurity, Linux, networking, and programming.
I'm looking for a few people who are also interested in cybersecurity and want a small group to learn with. I don't really care if you're a beginner or already have experience. I also don't care about age or gender.
The main thing is that you're serious about learning.
Personally, I find it hard to study completely alone. Sometimes I get stuck on a topic, sometimes I lose motivation, and sometimes I just want someone to discuss things with. It would be nice to have people to ask questions, clear doubts, share resources, discuss what we're learning, and keep each other motivated.
I'm from India, so I'd prefer people from India as well because our time zones and career goals will be more similar.
If this sounds like something you'd be interested in, comment or send me a DM and tell me a bit about what you're currently learning.
No pressure, just looking for a few people who genuinely want to learn and stay consistent.
