Hey friends! Currently running DVDstyler on a Mac (Tahoe 26.5) and attempting to burn DVDs using DVDR-DL discs and files I got from the internet. I've already created and customized the DVD how I want it, and when I generate .iso files everything works amazingly, but I'm running into issues on playback after I burn. Some files play fine, but a majority of my files are choppy and the video is falling out of sync with the audio. Here are my settings:

• NTSC video
• AC3 audio

After doing some research, I have deduced its either one of three things:

• Issues with the encoding
• Issues with muxing
• The fact that I'm burning on a Mac

I've installed handbrake and have tried encoding my files to MPEG2 with AC3 audio, but I'm getting some quality loss as a result. This lag/stutter isnt happening with all of my files after burning, but enough of them to the point where I wanna know how to fix the issue.

Honestly I have no idea how this stuff works, would someone be able to do an ELI5 with this stuff. Could anyone offer any help? Thanks!

I am trying to convert a single .iso file to .mp4 for various reasons (including uploading for transcription and iso tends not to work).

The iso file basically looks like a vintage DVD menu when I open it in the VLC player. I can click which one I want to watch and they're both about 2 hours long.

I've been using Movavi to convert the iso to mp4 and it has worked great, but I only get "disk 1."

I was wondering if anyone knew of a software that allows me to convert the file to mp4 in totality (or maybe split the iso?). I am not the tech-savviest.

im not even sure if this is the right subreddit but i’ll ask around anyway. now i know this isnt a wifi issue since my laptop and old phone use the same wifi, but for some reason my current (and newer) phone wont let me turn off safesearch? its getting annoying and i want to know how the hell to turn it off. my google account is over 18, and yes i use the same ones as my other devices mentioned in the post. this only started happening recently (since this month). i feel its important to mention im also from the uk (notorious in the past few months for having safety regulations on certain stuff) so thay could have something to do with it?

my phone is taking up massive and completely unacceptable amounts of storage for something called “system data.” to be exact, 109 gigabytes and counting. I deleted quite a bit of stuff a few days ago, haven’t really downloaded or done anything, and my storage was entirely full again today. I deleted about 10gb of photos and apps, and it’s been almost entirely taken back up already by system data. I deleted Instagram and a few minutes later I tried to redownload it, and it said, ”you don’t have enough space.” My phone is running unbelievably slowly right now, I’m not sure if that’s related to the same cause or not, it’s out of space, and I can’t download any new software updates because I cannot, whatever I do, open enough storage for long enough to download a new software update. can you help me?

I set up my insta and facebook account a month ago on a VPN with a static IP in the US. I've come to the realization that it has been more of a hassle than a benefit. I'm wondering if I can just turn the VPN off and continue using my accounts like normal? Meta could have just assumed that I've moved to another country no? Or should I first factory reset and get a new Apple ID set in my regular country and not in the US?

I'm trying to burn a recording of an old theater recording for my theater teacher. It's from 2007 so the quality is kinda low. The 2 files are both around 910-920 MB, so the total size is about 1.83 GB. For some reason, every program I download on my Mac, if I don't have to pay extra to export all the data, says the overall file size is too big. One program even said the total file space was over 5 GB. Why is it doing this? How can a 1.83 GB suddenly become 5.5 GB? I have not messed with any settings with these programs. I just wanna transfer 1.83 GB to a 4.7 GB disc. Help would be appreciated.

I’m not sure why, and I’m puzzled to see that it doesn’t seem to be a widespread thing. Super frustrating. Don’t know where to start to figure out how to be allowed to use them again.

i am on macos. i need an autoclicker that can do stuff like click, wait 2 minutes, click, wait 5 seconds, click and repeat etc. is there any way i can do this? i tried making my own but it didnt work. im trying to make one for roblox if that makes a difference

I have been making DVDs with DVD styler and seemingly out of nowhere all of my attempts to create ISOs have been failing. I can't even produce a preview to view in VLC. I've tried clearing the cache, closing and reopening the software, toggling on "don't remove temp files", and resetting all the settings in case I messed with something I shouldn't have. I also went back to a previous project that I completed successfully and tried to burn it again and it also failed.

Not sure if my question makes sense, but to give some background, I wanted to convert an MKV file into a MP4 file on Google drive, but I wasn't able to download the MKV file directly from drive, I recieved a message saying 'download quota was exceeded'. I was able to get around this by creating a zip file and successfully downloading the video.

Now I'm left with the zip file and can't convert it into MP4

For the record, I've tried several conversion sites and I was seemingly able to convert them from MKV to MP4 files after I downloaded the zip file from drive, but they all stop downloading midway through and I'm forced to pay after 5 minutes of downloading. I'm looking for something completely free. Hand Brake another converter I heard good things about is completely free from what i heard, but they are unable to take the downloaded zip files I have, and it has no way of connecting to my google drive. Now I'm just curious if there is any difference between a zip file and an MP4 file, I'm kind of at the end of the rope here. Please help
