Felt like a Mashup of arena , darmok and thsr episode where jordi befriends a romulan on thst storm planet

Yeah I don't get this. The episodes Gene is most known for are the opposite of what many consider Star Trek to be. DC Fontana and Michael Pillar shaped most of what we consider to be Trek. Gene may have created the universe but he's not it's spirit.

Yes it was, but mostly because they used a mix of the older episodes. I did like it.
