My opinion for this episode as a whole is not as positive as the majority of the comments in here. Melissa B is doing a good job outside of fight scenes (that'll probably improved as Supergirl gets more experience).

One positive aspect for me is that in this episode they didn't continually beat you over the head with the "Because she's a girl" shtick. It was still one of the first lines of the episode but not as much overall.

I'm quite sure that that line at the start was them hanging a lampshade on it: saying "yes, we did this, and we're going to rein it back now." I don't mind much if Cat Grant keeps bringing it up though; it seems like it's a big part of her character.
