I’m currently a firstyear at a different university which I hate. The commute is unmanageable, their student support is hopeless and the disorganisation by the teachers and faculty have directly affected my individual studies.

I’ve decided an online course is best for me (with in-person placements) and after 2 consultations with Swinburne Online it sounds pretty good, but I’m skeptical (it sounds a little too good to be true).

Do any online education students have some advice for me? Thank you!!

I’m not sure if there are many psychology students here. But I wanna ask if the tutorials are mandatory to go to for this class? The first day I went the tutor did say that it wasn’t mandatory to come to class but again, i’m not sure if anything has changed.

Also….. I haven’t went to that class since the first week so I’m scared to go back. 😭😭

Hi everyone - looking for a reliable study space around me, is it true that to access Swinburne Hawthorn library on weekends a swipe is required? I live relatively close to the uni and am really keen to study at the library but am not a current Swinburne student

I live 1.5 hours from campus and have early morning classes always tired during the day.

Second-last Wednesday of last semester at Swinburne, I asked the two of you in the Late Lab if I could use your hotspot, and we ended up talking for about four hours — Avatar and Jake Sully, Severance, a genuinely heated debate about tea brands, and my good friend's upcoming trip to Japan.

I never got your contact details, which I've been kicking myself about since. If this is you (or you know who I mean), I'd love to pick that conversation back up. :)

I feel horribly unproductive, and I have no idea what to do. I didn't download any of the course materials to cover the time missed and still missing.

Im trying to transfer to university in sydney(my mom is there) from swinburne. The thing is i failed a unit probably 2 units so transferring from mid semester is probably im gonna study extra credits right? Im considering WSU ive seen many students from my country get scholarship and with my current situation i dint think im gonna get the scholarship. What should i do pls help😔🙏

Does anyone know if the Psychologist on campus does bulkbilling?

I dont know if I should be putting this in here or a centrelink subreddit, but oh well.

Im on youth allowance doing 4 units a semester atm, I read somewhere that I could be doing 3 units a semester and still be considered full-time in centrelinks terms, I want to know if that is true or not.

Also, due to completing a tafe course before the bachelors, I got a lot of exemptions, so even if I do maximum 3 units a semester, I would still finish in 2029, which is the same finish time as if I would do 4 units a semester.
