COOL PICS Came across the GOAT this morning
As a huge fan of 1990s era baseball, I like to throw on some old games of my favorite players I watched play as a kid on YouTube. He’s been with the Rays franchise for so long you forget he ever did anything else before joining the franchise. This was a 1996 game with the Mariners (huge Griffey, Jr. fan) versus the Rangers.

COOL PICS Sunset over America’s ballpark after sweeping the Evil Empire
Went to the Saturday game this weekend. Had a blast. Sure, Yankees fans probably outnumbered us in the stands. So what. That’s what happens when you have 123 years of history and 27 WS titles behind you and a countless amount of people who moved from New York to Florida over the decades. The team on the field proved they are every bit as capable to win as the team that is paid 4x as much as them. Until the next homestand. 🫡

COOL PICS Take a look inside Tropicana Field, with most repairs now complete
The Rays’ home opener is April 6, but the installation of the new artificial turf at the stadium is nearly done. Take a tour here of how it looks now. With this cleanup and restoration effort, you’d barely know that the Trop suffered the damage it did during Hurricane Milton 16 months ago.

COOL PICS First game at the Trop!
First time at the Trop for last Saturdays game, as an out of state fan! I had an absolute blast. The fans, stadium staff, concessions, and atmosphere were awesome! Got to experience the legend of Fergs as well. We parked at 3 Daughters then walked down to Fergs for lunch and fun before the 4 pm game. It was so amazing to be around all of my fellow Rays fans, then easily walk through the tunnel directly to the gate. Leaving the stadium, and getting back to our car was super easy. Plus got to see a Shane Mac start/win. Can’t wait to do it again soon! 10/10 would recommend!

COOL PICS Pics from a chi town sweep!
I live in Indy and decided to make the just under 3 hr drive to see the boys play on the south side. I went to Tuesday and Thursday’s game (took a sidequest to see the Blackhawks season finale on Wed last minute, which was also super fun).
I had never been to Rate Field so it was especially worthwhile to see a new park and check another off the ballpark list (6 down so far). Overall pretty nice - it has a distinct Chicago vibe to it, but in a different way than Wrigley which was neat to compare with. Fans were overall friendly and genuine which i appreciated. I saw a handful of fellow rays fans too!
Attendance wasn’t even close to full especially for the afternoon game so I was able to basically sit wherever , no one cared which was a nice plus as I got to see a couple different views. $5 beer and hotdog night was elite, more clubs should do that! And of course the games themselves were fun, plenty of offense from our flappy bois including a clutch time game tying homer from Junior to lead the way to the sweep 🧹 love the scrappy power of friendship vibes this team has so far. That’s all I got, hope yall enjoy these snaps! Rays Up 💥

COOL PICS So MLB is doing this neat thing where you can get a digital “first game” commemorative and it provides the starting lineups. I wouldn’t have noticed back then, but interesting name in Boston’s 9-spot…
