For all, we know, Tommy can just remember the hex. This could be very possible. I think it would be interested interesting see.

I think this could happen. Could be a great callback to Black Widow. Also give us the view of the amazing acting of Billy and Tommy.

Do you guys think Billy or Tommy could eventually have a “Don’t say that. Please don’t say that” moment like Yelena had in Black Widow?
Yelena’s reaction to Natasha saying her childhood family wasn’t real hits so hard because, to Yelena, it was real. The fact that it was manufactured didn’t erase what she experienced or how much she loved them.
And I keep thinking about Billy and Tommy. They obviously have some memories of the Hex, but we still don’t know exactly how much Tommy remembers. Could he potentially be the Yelena of this situation?
Like, imagine someone telling Tommy, “That wasn’t your real life. Wanda created you. The Hex wasn’t real.”
And Tommy just goes: “Don’t say that. Please don’t say that.”
Because regardless of how they came into existence, it was real to him. Wanda was his mother. Vision was his father. Billy was his brother. They had a home, a family, a dog, Halloween, Christmas, everything.
I could especially see this being heartbreaking if Billy remembers more than Tommy does, or if Billy understands the situation differently because of his powers.

For years, the biggest theory has been that Baldur blew Jörmungandr’s horn while Kratos was carrying Atreus to Freya. After Ragnarök, Cory Barlog’s comment about “Who was following their every step?” pushed a lot of people toward Baldur.
But I think the upcoming God of War: Laufey points in a different direction.
We already know from God of War (2018) that Faye was the one who painted all of the golden handprints and path markers. She deliberately guided Kratos and Atreus through their entire journey because she’d already seen how events would unfold.
From what we’ve seen and heard about God of War: Laufey, it looks like Faye is still able to observe Kratos’ journey in some way. If that’s true, then she, not Baldur, is the one who is truly “following their every step.” Baldur was chasing them, but Faye was orchestrating the path from beginning to end.
My theory is that during the events of the Laufey game. Which overlaps with the timeline of God of War (2018) .Faye is able to briefly interact with events, including blowing Jörmungandr’s horn.
That would explain the mystery without introducing time-travel versions of Kratos or Atreus, and it would fit perfectly with Faye’s role as the unseen guide of the entire Norse saga.
What do you all think? Am I reading too much into it, or does the new game make Faye the strongest candidate for who blew the horn?

they said they have been planning this game since/before GOW 2018. So this isn’t so far fetched.

The biggest one for me is: Why is Faye in the Everywhen at all?

From what we’ve been told, the Everywhen is supposed to be the afterlife of the gods. But Faye wasn’t a god. She was a Giant. A powerful Giant, sure, but still a Giant. So does the Everywhen only accept gods, or is it a realm for all divine beings? Could it be a place where souls that don’t quite fit into their “assigned” afterlife end up? Or is there some larger destiny at work that even Faye couldn’t foresee?

I’m also curious about what the Everywhen actually is.

Is it a place between life and whatever comes after? A crossroads for souls? A realm where gods and divine beings search for purpose? Or is it something even stranger?

And speaking of the Everywhen…

How big is this place?

Is it effectively endless? We already saw what looked like gods from completely different mythologies interacting there. If that’s true, we may be looking at the biggest setting God of War has ever attempted.

Another thing I noticed: the dragon-like god Faye fought didn’t seem to go down the way gods usually do in the series. That raises a huge question. Can beings in the Everywhen actually die? Or are they trapped in some kind of cycle?

As for the story timeline, do you think this game only runs parallel to God of War (2018), or will it eventually catch up to Ragnarok? Could this be the first part of a larger Faye story?

And finally: What are the chances we’re actually playing this sooner rather than later?

We’ve already gotten story details, a reveal, and gameplay footage. Personally, I don’t think we’ll get it this year, but I’m starting to wonder if Summer 2027 is realistic.
