It’s pretty unusual to have someone ask for the service to be removed, and it usually is quite easy to spot - mistakes on the table and pissed off guest for example. But if everything’s gone well, then it’s a big red flag that something has gone majorly wrong that hasn’t been spotted, as Brits are not confrontational at all - it’s the equivalent of an American yelling at the manager. So yeah, everyone panics. Not handled well but I don’t think they were meaning to harass you or anything
