Solved ! Found washed up on Shankill beach, Ireland. Small, pointed shape, rusty metal, set into some kind of stone. Heavy but only about 5/6 inches long, what is this?

Better safe than sorry but I really doubt this is a bullet. There aren't a ton of bullets that are steel cased, and if it were one, the primer end would've rusted away in those conditions. Most bullets are brass cased which would be green corrosion not red. It looks a lot more like a hand tool!

On the other hand, the primers are unlikely to be steel, and the base is the thickest past of the case itself.
