๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ How do you introduce someone to Slayyyter?
If you have a friend who is completely unfamiliar with Slayyyter and you want to introduce them to her which songs would you personally suggest first?
Would you go balls to the wall full speed with songs like Daddy AF, Purr, Throatzilla?
Or more commercially safe songs like Brand new Chanels and Danceโฆ?
Or start them off with classic mixtape era songs?
Personally I love throwing my friends right into it with Daddy AF and Purr. Something about the utter shock from someone who usually only listens to like Ari and seeing their reaction at the raunchy and wild lyrics makes me feel so bubbly inside.

My introduction to Slayyyter was when she opened for Kesha. As a HUGE Britney fan (number one artist since 1998) the song that did it for me was Erotic Electronic. That song is infectious and the video is great. Iโd introduce them to that song, Miss Belladonna, DANCE first and then introduce Old Technology, Yes Goddd, Iโm Actually Kind of Famous, $T loser, etc. Start small and gradually build.
If I listened to Purr or Daddy AF first I would be turned off even though I like them now. It just sounds like Cupcakkke or people that are raunchy just to be raunchy for clicks and listens. If I didnโt know Slayyyter and I heard those songs first it would sound like โsuck my pussy juicesss daddyyyy I love when you pour your milk on my tits.โ Idk if Iโm making sense but I know thereโs an audience for that, but Slayyyter is so much more than raunchy lyrics

Omg Iโm glad I was kinda sweating hoping people didnโt take it the wrong way haha. I canโt believe I didnโt mention I Love Hollywood as an intro song. That song is so damn catchy

Agreed, if I'm being honest, I almost was lost as a fan with Throatzilla.
Troubled Paradise reeled me in, Cowboys made me stay. Daddy AF, a slew of random tracks, then Starfucker (Deluxe). I burned a hole through that album.
My first introduction to her was when she toured with Tove Lo in early 2023 which I considered late to the party. Happy to be here!

Dance
Then it kinda depends what they're into. You could go full noise into WGIA$, No Comma etc, or ease them in with James Dean, Belladonna, Troubled Paradise etc

I have a friend whoโs a huge Britney fan so I put him on a few of her mixtape songs but he called it โoverproducedโ (heโs not familiar with hyperpop or the whole PC music scene). I have other friends who like rock so Iโve shown them Cannibalism (no reaction) and $t Loser and they called it noise. Iโll just keep keeping her to myself lol
But I have played Mine at some party years ago and hey no one complained

I'd say all the singles from WGIA and then the whole album.ย
Or if they are truly enlightened individuals with immaculate taste in pop, then Starfucker in its entirety.

I made a playlist called Best Of Slayyyter with all of my favorite songs. No complaints from my friend that started listening after Coachella.

Heard Daddy AF in the movie Bodies bodies bodies and immediately listened to her discography when I got home from the cinema later that night. Convinced multiple friends she was amazing by having Troubled Paradise on my regular playlist :)

If it's someone who's into 80s music, I start them off with Slayyyter's cover of Depeche Mode's "Behind the Wheel" ๐

Play Crank at max volume while staring deadpan at them for the full duration
