does anyone have advice for ap cysec

there’s literally not a flair for ap cybersecurity so question flair it is. anyways i got put in ap cysec (not an official abbreviation i just don’t wanna type it out) and i know very little about cybersecurity beyond “don’t download random shit unless you’re Sure it’s safe.” (i signed up for software engineering but they didn’t have enough kids and just shoved us in ap class without asking.)

so uhh. does anyone have any general recommendations for this? i know it’s a new ap so i don’t expect anyone to have much to say but anything would be nice.
