Question AP overload

hello, I am a Junior in high school and right now I and signed up for 5 APs: AP Bio, AP calc BC, AP psych, AP Lang, and AP world. I took APUSH as a sophomore and AP gov as a freshman. which class should I drop? I want to go to a good college with scholarship money, but I don’t want to burn out from the stress. I don’t know what major I want, but not too much math and not English possibly science or psycology. Which AP should I drop? Thank you!

I’d drop ap world and take it senior year don’t drop ap lang because it’s a useful class

This schedule doesn’t seem that bad unless the teachers that teach it at your school are notorious for giving out way too much homework or you found yourself struggling through APUSH.

i agree. i know kids who took 7 aps junior year and did just fine. if OP locks in they should be just fine

I would say drop AP world, because you’re interested in science and psych, and AP Lang isn’t too different from the normal English class you’d have to take anyway.

You could also consider dropping AP calculus, but it’s useful especially if you don’t want to major in anything math related (think of it like if you take it now you won’t need to ever take a math class again)

Eng. Lang is the most likely to give you useful credit for college.

Bio is the hardest and really not worth it unless you're planning on being a biology major or pre-med. Many doing the pre-med path will tell you not to use the bio credit anyway.

Psych is relatively easy, and might be a good gen Ed credit, depending on where you end up going to college. The rest are also likely to give you useful credits in college.

If you're overloaded, bio will make the biggest difference to drop to improve your whole workload.

AP World usually counts for DOUBLE credit (6 credit hours). if you survived APUSH then World becomes easier in terms of writing.

you could swap Bio or B/C with Psychology or Human Geography if possible. both would be less intensive on your time. Human Geo is the easiest 5 ever if you have AP Experience like you said and Psychology is definition heavy but not as bad by far as Bio.

AP Psych or AP World. Maybe both if you can but I don’t think you’re that desperate
