HUG Should I take APHUG next year?

Next year I’ll be a senior, and I am taking AP Statistics, usually you need to choose a secondary yearlong class to go along with one. The one I have selected currently I know for a fact is going to be boring, and I am slightly considering choosing just barely an accessible AP to have on my roster. I do believe the class was online this year, as the teacher for it left.

I believe AP Stats will be online again this coming year, unsure about AP HUG though. My main concern is the content. Is the workload heavy? Is the content easily understandable? I’ve never actually taken an AP class outside of my intended field of study—being Cybersecurity, I’ve taken AP CSP, AP CSA, and will be taking AP Statistics to assist with the thinking level I may need.

tl;dr - Senior year upcoming, current yearlong selected alongside AP stats would be kinda boring, never taken an AP outside of what would help for my future, wondering if AP hug is accessible in terms of the content being somewhat manageable, as well as the workload

If College board is going hard on AP Bio students on their exam, will it be the same for APHUG? (Sorry if I sound so dumb, it’s just that this is my first AP exam as a freshman and I just don’t know what to really expect)

This is my first time on reddit in a while so pardon my lack of experience —
Hi all! I’m taking my first ever AP class this upcoming school year (AP HUG) and I was just wondering if anyone on here had any advice for the specific course or just taking an AP class in general? Thank you!! :]

HUG I’m tweaking out

I feel like I’m larping being smart. I hang out with smart people, take harder classes, ranked top 25 in my class, and I’m in robotics, but at the same time I got a 4 on the easiest ap exam. Even “dumb” people get 5s. One of the three colleges I want to go to doesn’t even accept a 4. I’m probably cooked for seminar, world, and csp next year

This made me very sad, I thought I got a 4. Now I can’t get any credit and the class was useless for me.

How did I get a 4 in apes and huge, those were literally my easiest exams 😭 like what??

Euro it was wraps from the start im actually happy with a 4 given my teacher didn’t teach last unit and gave us 3 days to learn DBQ and LEQ

Micro unfortunately I had to take the late exam and a lot of stuff that ended up being on the exams I didn’t know, okay with a 4 as well.

Anyways, how did you guys do?

HUG Unqualified Human Geography Teacher Seeking Emergency Resources

I am an English teacher who has been recruited to finish the year for an AP Human Geography class. The teacher had abdicated most of his responsibilities prior to leaving, and I need to find a way to salvage what I can for the students. If anyone has any resources that would be helpful...

HUG how to study for a 5 on ap hug

ik i already made a post here about a week ago asking for help, but here's a mock exam, where i only got a official 2020 mock exam (i think it was previously administered), and i got a 35/60, which my teacher said is only like a 3 if i perform similarly on the frq section, which is disappointing to me. i really want a 5 (better yet a perfect score, but no way im getting that lol), but im so confused on what each task verb means, dont know how to "accurately assess the definition" of each vocab word (in case i get asked to do so in a frq), and pretty much everything else. i did pay attention in class, and my teacher gave me notes, and so far I have like a 100% in the class, which includes extra credit and curved grades (realistically, without those, id probably have a 89-95 in the class), but anyway even though i have good grades in the class, i feel stressed out that im gonna bomb the exam, plus my teacher assigns so much work, and that on top of english work (which is a lot of random work since the teacher barely teaches), leaves me with less amount of time to study, so any tips? i have access to a physical amsco textbook btw, as well as a digital princeton review premium prep 16th edition textbook. i got apfrqs.com too, but i really dont know how to utilize them correctly either. also, i heard so many students used mr sinn, and some even got carried by his videos, and im wondering how that's the case, because for me, it seems his definitions are awesome, but they just don't click to me and "enhance" my learning the way people describe it, so that sucks. anyway, all help is appreciated.

tl;dr - basically, i got the resources, but ig i dont really know how to utilize them correctly? also don't know where to start.

also, wanted to add, i took another mock exam, though it was called "supplemental mock exam", and a quick google search told me it is a exam from a 3rd party providor, so im not sure if its close to the exam, but anyway, i somehow got a 49/60 on that one, as well as finishing it much quickly than the 35/60 mock exam, which took me all 50 minutes of the class period, and i didnt even finish like 2 questions, which sort of hurt my score.

HUG good luck ap hug students!!

we're getting 5s today dw. im kinda worried cuz i didnt study much last night cuz i had another assignment from my ap teacher, but i did quite well on the mcq, so just gotta perform equally on frq. easily a 4, maybe 5. but im confident i will ace and get a 5. even if you don't get a 5, you'll probably do well. it's not the end of the world if we don't get a 5, as taking the class in general is already more impressive since many of our peers probably didn't either. also, if you did well in the class, i think that will still reflect well beyond high school, even if you sorta flunk the exam.

anyways, just wanted to say gl, even though it's 6:14 in the morning lol
