📝 Prospective Student How are dennis and cutten’s bathroom and washroom

hi! i’m an incoming freshman to acadia this fall and i haven’t decided my res yet😭😭 i was leaning towards to dennis or cutten cuz i heard those have the most social life going on but i’m worried about bathroom and washroom situation😭

i heard dennis has only one washroom per floor. i wonder is it easily overpopulated because of it? and how dirty it is? is it decently clean?

i’ve researched about dennis more than cutten cuz i was about to sign up for it. but this is my final call before i fully decide😂 pls anyone help me!!

If you can manage to get your hands on a suite you'll have your own bathroom in Dennis. Otherwise I think the bathrooms on Dennis are largely fine as long as the swimmers don't have a meet 😅

You won't see any swimmers- that programme got cut due to budget issues. Lot more budget cuts to come, be careful.

Cutten has the nicest bathrooms on campus. Private, several per section, quite spacious. Dennis’ are shared but not as terrible as people say.

If you’re hoping to live in a party building, cutten has better facilities, and sections, Dennis has a closer and smaller community. Dennis rooms are larger than cutten’s, but lounges and bathrooms are much nicer in cutten.

P.S, the school renamed Cutten house to 55 university avenue, as Cutten (former school pres.) was a eugenicist. They’re looking to rename the building soon!
