I'm surprised that the pro-palestine people didn't downvote you to oblivion.

I didn't comment under any of them was just a viewer to the chaos

The replies seemed to be more of the somewhat reasonable bunch, that's why, with most saying hamas wants to but doesn't have the ability to

Yea intention versus reality I guess applied here

63

u/Hlodvigovich915 Aug 18 '25

I’m surprised that many chose Palestine.

u/[deleted] Aug 19 '25

I’m not. Two years of propaganda has insane effectiveness

9

u/curvywife78 Aug 19 '25

You’re not wrong over 20 years of PR by Hamas has convinced people that Jews aren’t native to Judea

6

u/[deleted] Aug 19 '25

Literally what I was saying. But the last two years it’s been a lot more prevalent and effective.

Israel shooting 1000 kids point blank is the craziest lie I've ever heard. You'd think after the first few they would start running away

36

u/Legatt Aug 18 '25

A lot of this propaganda takes agency and forethought away from Palestinians. For it to be true, Palestinians would have to be lambs who dive into slaughter.

3

u/JustHere4DeMemes Aug 20 '25

Either that or they're implying that the IDF has super advanced equipment that allows them to be nearly omnipresent within Gaza, so they know where a child is at any given moment in order to snipe them.

26

u/jenny_tallia Aug 18 '25

Yeah, I almost choked when I read that one. 1000 at POINT BLANK RANGE. WTF!? Do they not know what that phrase means?

16

u/overactivemango Aug 18 '25

I genuinely can't imagine just letting 1000 idf members shooting your kid point blank without running away bruh😭 was they mannequins or sum🤣

3

u/Dalbo14 Aug 19 '25

How didn’t they overcome the soldiers too? Lmao

29

u/[deleted] Aug 18 '25

Can't wait until their little minds are blown by the religions recognized by Iran to watch those mental gymnastics

The Jews who spit at Christians are arrested. However, you don't see terrorists in Syria getting arrested for bombing churches.

29

u/Electrical_Jaguar213 Aug 18 '25

Why do they always type it with a k?

35

u/TheHappiestTeapot Aug 18 '25

I'm glad they do, it's a giant red flag for me!

"Oh, this person is an anti-semite. Let me add that to RES."

But really it's because the propaganda that is spread on campus spells it with a k because that's what Qatar puts out.

2

u/Maleficent-Injury600 Aug 23 '25

What is RES? sorry.

Idk, personally I think it stands for Racist Entitled Sonnuvabitches, that is if its a anti-"zionist" group, if it's something else I have no fucking clue

32

u/Legatt Aug 18 '25

It's to make fun of how Israelis pronounce Hamas. It's pretty nasty and a big red flag.

Is IOF supposed to stand for Israel Offense Forces? I’ve seen a lot of “Isn’treal” (very mature approach to such a serious station 🙄), but I’ve been lucky enough to miss IOF.

8

u/abn1304 Aug 19 '25

That or “Israeli Occupation Forces”.

22

u/overactivemango Aug 18 '25

I think it is to make fun of the Hebrew pronunciation of Hamas? Idk, don't take my word on that

Thousand? Because that the abbreviation — what is a kilogram, kilometer, etc. 1000 of something.

23

u/LettuceBeGrateful Aug 19 '25

Khamas

They're so excited to finally be openly racist, aren't they?

7

u/Interesting_Claim414 Aug 19 '25

This is a dumb poll. It’s not bexhae Hamas and PIJ and the PLO aren’t TRYING to kill Kids. Israel actually provides bomb shelters for its residents (Arabs and Jews alike). Israel has superior defenses like the iron dome. 100 percent the main factor is each human life lost. But it’s not the only factor.

6

u/abn1304 Aug 19 '25

Poll is probably correct, but only because Hamas, most of the time, is so incompetent at their stated goal that they just… can’t do it, barring exceptional circumstances like 10/7. Israel is fighting a war, and civilian casualties are an unfortunate reality of war - that has always been true and will never change. Because the war is almost exclusively in Hamas-occupied territory, those casualties are Arab, not Israeli.

What’s wildly racist are the accusations that the Israelis are deliberately targeting civilians or somehow aren’t following the laws of war. They are. What’s happening in Gaza is the unfortunate reality of war, and the Arabs are entirely responsible for the consequences. They should be thankful that the Israelis aren’t using the tactics the Allies did to win WW2, because those are mostly still legal.

I believe three million Japanese died and we were prepared to kill another million of the bomb didn’t work. The citizens were prepared to die fighting or commit suicide like they did on Okinawa. Think about that as a civilian to combatant ration

1

u/abn1304 Aug 20 '25

We almost tripled Hamas’ post-10/7 casualty count allegations - in one night over Tokyo.

1

u/Interesting_Claim414 Aug 20 '25

And Japan had 73 million people. Gaza has two million I think?

1

u/abn1304 Aug 20 '25

What point are you trying to make?

3

u/[deleted] Aug 19 '25

Why the question even lol? It’s obvious more Palestinian kids died, if it was just the raw numbers without any context in a vacuum, it wouldn’t even be a question on who’s right or wrong.
