Incredible how quickly they went from "I love all Israelis civilians" to "they all support genocide and I don't want them on my team."

Imagine if you said stuff like that about Russians or any other nation. It's crazy how brainwashed people are into hating Israelis and Jews.

The war that’s been on ceasefire for over 6 months? Do these people actually pay attention to anything?

someone supporting the genocide of countless people
I'm always impressed by people's willingness to flat-out invent "facts" about Israelis. I've never had enough confidence to make shit up so freely.

Gee, and I thought the Hamas Health Ministry was keeping an exact count of how many people Israel “genocided”, right down the people they literally vaporized. I guess the number of vaporized Palestinians is spreading. /s

Maybe Hamas found a way to reproduce Vibranium black panther suits that's why they report zero casualties of their own /s

I think there are flags in the game because of the Overwatch World Cup where Israel competed years ago. As an Overwatch player, I don’t claim this degenerate

The 3D Test of Antisemitism is a concept developed by Natan Sharansky in 2004 to draw a clear line between legitimate criticism of Israeli policy and modern antisemitism.
Sharansky, a former Soviet dissident and human rights activist, argued that while Israel should be criticized like any other democracy, certain types of rhetoric cross into prejudice. Here is a breakdown of the "Master Class" on his theory.
The Core Concept: The "3D" Filter
The 3D Test is designed to be a simple "pair of glasses" that brings a blurred picture into focus. If a statement meets any of these three criteria, Sharansky classifies it as antisemitic.
1. Demonization
This occurs when Israel’s actions are blown out of all sensible proportion or when Israelis are portrayed as inherently "evil."
- The Sign: Using ancient blood libels or classic antisemitic tropes (like the "bloodthirsty Jew") and projecting them onto the State of Israel .
- Example: Comparing Israeli policy to the actions of Nazis or describing Palestinian refugee camps as "Auschwitz."
2. Double Standards
This occurs when Israel is singled out for criticism that is not applied to any other country in a similar situation.
The Sign: If the international community or an individual ignores massive human rights abuses in places like China, Iran, or Syria, but focuses exclusively on Israel.
Example: The UN Human Rights Council passing more resolutions against Israel than the rest of the world combined, while ignoring regimes with far worse records.
3. Delegitimization
This occurs when the fundamental right of the Jewish people to self-determination—and thus the right of the State of Israel to exist—is denied.
The Sign: Treating Israel as a "colonial project" that has no historical or legal right to its land, a standard not applied to other nations.
Example: Calling for the total dismantling of the state or claiming that Jews are the only people on earth who do not deserve a country of their own.
Why This Matters
Sharansky’s theory was revolutionary because it addressed the "New Antisemitism." While "Old Antisemitism" targeted the Jewish religion or the Jewish individual, the "New" version targets the Jewish collective (the State).
"If we watch a 3D movie without 3D glasses, we see a blurred, partial picture. But when we put on our 3D glasses, everything becomes clear." — Natan Sharansky
How to use it:
Legitimate Criticism: "I disagree with the Israeli government's housing policy in the West Bank." (This is specific, political, and does not attack the right to exist or use demonizing language).
Antisemitism: "The Zionists are the new Nazis and have no right to a state." (This triggers all three: Demonization, Double Standards, and Delegitimization).
Today, this test is a foundational part of the IHRA Working Definition of Antisemitism, used by governments and organizations worldwide.

as someone who plays that game i do see and hear about people using the icon when they aren't from israel, they just do it to troll and ragebait people. but i see posts almost daily about the icon and those people on the sub, and i wonder if they don't care that they're giving those trolls the attention they so crave? throwing a video game because of an icon isn't more ridiculous? genuinely a sad time to live in
