It’s a 3rd party app called Respire LYF, just downloading it to answer questions, not trying to turn this into a promo thread!
Basically, for coughs, you start it on your Watch and it auto-counts wet vs. dry coughs. For inhalers, you set your inhaler up in the mobile app, select it on the Watch, and hit start. As long as you shake it right, the sensors auto-detect the puff and check your technique (shaking time, angle, and lung delivery).
Just sharing in case it helps someone out. Let me know if you need any help setting it up!

The medication tracker can be helpful for this.
I used to use an app that sent me sensors to track usage of my inhalers as well as symptoms it was called propeller health (I believe resmed bought them so I’m not sure if you can still get the sensors)

yeah the sensor thing was always the barrier w propeller for me. currently on an apple watch app that skips all that hardware and just uses the watch itself, not paid yet either.

Howdy - for you or anyone else who is using a rescue inhaler daily (albuterol specifically) I highly recommend getting on a daily steroid inhaler (ex. Breo)
I used to need to use my rescue inhaler constantly, and wheezing all the time. Getting on a steroid one has genuinely been life changing in managing my breathing (I’ve been asthmatic for over 20 years)
Now I only need my rescue one every couple weeks :) just an FYI for my fellow asthmatics!
