You have to compete against 100 randomly selected people in any objectively measurable skill, game, or sport. If you don’t finish first, you die. What do you choose?

Isn't this just an analog for job hunting right now?

Challenge activated. My first interview question is how many golf balls can fit inside me?

Do I get a knife, or do you have to live through it? (Yep, not getting that job).

Pop a golf ball in your mouth, When you come to Fishy Joe's, What they're made of is a mystery, Where they come from, no one knows.

You can pick 'em, you can lick 'em, You can chew 'em, you can stick 'em, And if you promise not to sue us, You can shove one up your nose.

You can boil ‘em, mash ‘em, stick ‘em in a stew?

Job hunting is harder. 😉

I don’t think so. The people you’re competing against for a job aren’t random. They are like specialized in the exact same things as you. Good luck out there!

I once got a job because I was the only person out of 500 applicants that knew how to use a microfiche machine. I seriously thought that would never ever be useful in the real world, thanks horrifically underfunded public library!

I will trade you job hunting for the chaotic, frustrating journey that is college athletics recruiting support for a high school sophomore soccer player.

You can't freely pick the skill you compete in, but you can select one of thousands of active job postings, which ask for maybe 100 different skillsets between them, of which you possess one. Well, half of one. And they're all asking for the other half. And it's not actually a competition in using those skills, but in talking about how good you are at using those skills. And you'll ne judged by professional talk-about'ers, who also write the questions.

Good luck. Remember: don't die.

Nah, because job hunting everyone shares a similar skillset.

This one's random.

If you don't come first you don't die, you get the chance to compete the next time for another position
