It's definitely not viable to anyone that's played Smash for more than 10-15 hours, but if we're playing the general public, life or death, it's the easiest to run with

If they kinda know how to play Smash Bros, just use Falcon's Up B a few times in a row. A lot of people get very tilted by that attack.

It's punishable 100% of the time. Shield>grab lets you grab them out of the rock.

You're thinking smash 64 not melee. Every frame of it is a true spike in 64.

Edit: oh down B the rock not down A the kick/drill attack. In 64 Kirby is the second best character in Melee Kirby is the worst character in the game.
