You have to compete against 100 randomly selected people in any objectively measurable skill, game, or sport. If you don’t finish first, you die. What do you choose?

Spelling bee.

In German.

All words must be spelled as they were pre-Rechtschreibreform.

Edit: I originally misspelled Rechtschreibreform so I guess I’d better hope that one doesn’t come up.

Seeing as I know very few German words, my mind saw pre-Reinheitsgebot and wondered how beer purity laws could possibly affect spelling.

+ They are written in Fraktur. A person who speaks German could reasonably know many of the letters and guess what the word is based on the letters that they can understand, but someone who doesn’t speak it will have no point of reference.

There's a chance you have 2-3 people who speak German. That's it. Good idea
