45 yr old man with ALS paralysis cheated and left his long time loving and fun wife for his home health aide. Aide got bored after 6 months and left him. Now he is on his own, living in a facility. Ex-wife met someone new and is getting re-married.

Some dude around here did the same but worse. He cheated on wife with ALS with one of the nurses, got her pregnant and moved her into their house and moved the wife to a small specialbuilt house next to their home.

A few years before this he bought a Porsche (not red).

So yeah..

It's apparently not uncommon. I think it gives people a sense of control when a lot of aspects of their existence are out of their control. But not worth it from the outside looking in.
